I'm not implying anything. I was referring to comics with certain villains in them.

There are many different shows aged at many ages. Japan is rather strange with demographics, and young children there probably watch graphic violence on TV.

Of course, however, with a country like the UK, so much stuff has to be censored that you're taking away originality. One piece is a fine example of what 4kids has ruined. It's supposed to be violent, bloody and perverted. To take away those elements makes the show pretty pointless as it adds to the drama and humour of the show.

It's named 4kids for a reason, they should stick with TMNT, and other shows for the younger aged. One piece has more of a mature audience.

Well, I started my anime career watching Once Piece with the 4Kids dubs.
I agree with grrphc, it's a great way to introduce someone to anime, and allow that anime to be aired on kids television (which granted, in Japan, it already can).

I went back later and watched it without the fucking lollipop coating, but I would have to say it's probably the anime that got me interested in Animanaga asa whole, along with Naruto.

Well, fair point. The censorship is quite ridiculous though. There's a dub comparison vid on youtube for One Piece.

First off, she had to die somehow, since she doesn't exist in Episode 4.

You know what kind of emotional distress and confusion he was under? He did

EVERYTHING in his power to make sure he could save Padme from death. He was
convinced (tricked) by Darth Sidious that his way of the force was the only way to bring equality to mankind.
He had to utterly massacre the children he's seen grow up and look up to him for safety and guidance.
Then, he thinks Padme is conspiring with Obi-Wan to go against him. He lost it. Himself, and his self control. He choked her, but that wasn't even her cause of death. She died because she lost the will to live. She lost Anakin to the dark side and no longer wanted to live.

Then, even after ALL that, Anakin being told that HE HIMSELF killed Padme is what drove him overboard. His absolute worse fear of not being able to save Padme came true. And from then off he became the number one Sith Lord.

I thought he didn't want to be M&M anymore because someone told him it looked retarded.
