That sucks dude. Arizona did that too. A couple of years ago in my senior year. The state had given an $100,000 to the whole Tucson School District but almost none of that went towards the teachers, students, maintenance workers, etc. Students stayed in the court room and wouldnt go to class to act on it, but nothing happened. Teachers decided not to go to school for a day. They had to come back of course because how else would they get paid?
My school system was fucked up. Your state was fucked up. shit sucks

The rest of the preforming arts as as good as done by June. Next year, Choir, Band, Theatre, and Orchestra will be nothing more than a memory.

Most schools won't even use that money for the students. the system is why their budgets are low in the first place, and to recover from the low budgets they do this stupid thing so that they can take money from the students and it wont even go back to them.

No, their budget is low because of how the state funds them.

Superman has consistently shown that he is Stronger, Faster, (maybe not smarter), and more head strong than Martian Manhunter.

The only thing Manhunter has on Superman is mind control, and even he can't do that on Superman.

I'm not implying anything. I was referring to comics with certain villains in them.

There are many different shows aged at many ages. Japan is rather strange with demographics, and young children there probably watch graphic violence on TV.

Of course, however, with a country like the UK, so much stuff has to be censored that you're taking away originality. One piece is a fine example of what 4kids has ruined. It's supposed to be violent, bloody and perverted. To take away those elements makes the show pretty pointless as it adds to the drama and humour of the show.

It's named 4kids for a reason, they should stick with TMNT, and other shows for the younger aged. One piece has more of a mature audience.

Well, I started my anime career watching Once Piece with the 4Kids dubs.
I agree with grrphc, it's a great way to introduce someone to anime, and allow that anime to be aired on kids television (which granted, in Japan, it already can).

I went back later and watched it without the fucking lollipop coating, but I would have to say it's probably the anime that got me interested in Animanaga asa whole, along with Naruto.

Well, fair point. The censorship is quite ridiculous though. There's a dub comparison vid on youtube for One Piece.
