Season one was okay. Season two mostly forgot about all the character developement that happened in season one and had a much less interesting plot overall. The only good things to come out of it were Verrick and Wan, the latter of which was which was pointlessly wiped out of existence along with all the other avatar incarnations in the finale. Season three was the only one that was comparable to the original series in terms of quality. Season four was generally pretty dull and sometimes confusing and the Korra-Asami relationship was even more poorly executed than the Korra-Mako-Asami love triangle, which is really saying something.

Nice! Have a greenie. Personally I don't like it because the writers wasted most of the potential of many of the characters, then when ratings inevitably fell they let the fanwankers have their way by changing Korra's character in less than a season. But that's my issue with it. Season 1 was great though.

Because she got a happy ending in season 3, then in season 4 she got super depressed and ran away before it even kicked off (PTSD or something). Among other things, it felt badly written and fan-serviced. Also the bisexual thing at the end was completely unwarranted and only put in because of the absurd fan "shipping" (that is what it's called, right?), so, it's a rapid and unnecessary change of character in terms of the originally proposed plot.

If you think they put it in because of "shipping" then you didn't pay any attention to the show. I wasn't even aware of the fans shipping it, and there were multiple times where I thought something similar to the ending would happen. Also I don't remember any happy ending for season 3? She was cripple and had a very close brush with death. I don't think it's strange at all to slip into depression when you can't walk and nearly died.

Season 1 she got her bending taken by an utter psychopath and didn't get depressed, in season 2 she got her avatar spirit ripped out of her body and the end of the world was nigh and didn't break-down, in season 3 something about as shitty as the first season happened but this time she broke-down, even though she had everyone she's ever known to help her, she ditched them. No, she hasn't a cripple, she could walk. She had a happy ending in season 3, not one of her friends or loved ones died or had serious injury, and the bad guys got fucked up. Hard. So in the final analysis; It was pretty weak in comparison to even the previous seasons, and didn't mesh properly. But. You aren't wrong for liking it at all and I'm not exactly trying to rain on your show, just pointing out the flaws.
