I still stand by that, but beyond that, Tallion also has less buttons to work with as opposed to Dragon's Dogma. It has as much variety as it does, because a class is DEDICATED to one skill. Tallion is a jack of all trades, ace of none, just like a Ranger should be. Yeah, there's a lot of pressing X/Square, but that's only if you don't use his other stuff. I mean once you can brand, use shadow strike, shoot arrows, get executions quickly... it's only your fault if you're mashing a lot. The sword on it's own is still kind of mashy, but that's just for the sake of everything else being in balance.

Too Flashy? the game is already as Flashy as it is Graphically.

I also stand that it should have more variety in sword attacks doesnt have to be cool looking just enough to not get bored of the same Animations over and over again.
