No problem man, I'm looking back on the video and i'll agree, not the best. I clanged things so that now each comp will just have a remix.

No hard feelings because at the end of the day, as long as we can agree Undertale is fucking awesome then its all good.

Dude the video's not that popular. The only reason I picked it was because
A. I like to have at least one form of music in my comps. and
B. I remember liking this song and still do and it was about undertale
There is still loads of creative stuff in this fandom. People have different tastes. Not liking one AMV is hardly a good reason to abandon such a great game.

Sorry I didn't mean to insult your tastes in particular, man. Though looking back on it I kinda did. So sorry about that.

That being said I still don't see that much similarity between the song and the game, other than the lyrics, "Nice work you did. You're gonna go far kid." but the rest of the song seems to not sync up as well and the connection just seems tangential. But that's my own outlook on it really, so you know just me spouting my own opinions.

Song's not bad and neither is the material they just seem like two good flavors that don't taste good together.

I'd say definitely stick with the method if it seems to be working for you.

And yeah I know. I'm a huge fanboy of "A Dreamer Reborn" on Tumblr and I'll probably continue to enjoy it to it's climax. What I meant with that "It's a good signifier that it's time to move on to something else" comment was based off a principle I've come to adopt, which I could explain if you care to hear about it but to prevent this comment from becoming too long for anyone to read it, I'll keep it out of this one. x)

Anyway, long story short, sorry to have offended! Best of luck with your future comps.

Art is so hard sometimes, art can even hurt my heart... Yet I feel relaxed doing it and I feel more than anything... Joy.
But I'm a little tired today, I'm gonna lay down here in your profile and relax... I want to do so much but there are things out of my reach.

Have you made everything you wanted to create?
User avatar #439 to #438 - groulgarigon ONLINE (10/31/2015) [-]
Nope. And I never will. I could draw for 2 or 3 life times and never be satisfied. Fortunately for me I'm more of a journey guy rather than a destination guy.

The joy of creation is a good sign you're doing what you love, which is something I think everyone in the world should strive for. Unfortunately it's something few people wind up succeeding at. If it's important to you, I recommend pursuing this happiness.

Our passions aren't a source for eternal motivation and the inspiration to create can run out. But it's not all about motivation. It's important you apply self discipline and hard work to endure times of low motivation.

There are things out of your reach? How exciting!
User avatar #440 to #439 - devilicious (10/31/2015) [-]
I probably more a destination guy... There's a large comic I want to make, once is done, I'm not really eager to what happen next, well... I have ideas X).

It really is my dream... To become a pro, to be know, to share and create and all the emotions that come out of that, there's passion of course X) and hard work, I almost gave up a year ago...Nothing came to my mind and didn't want to make anything anyway, but now is a whole new world, the frustration I have now is that there's so much to do but not the ability to make it happen all right now... I'm stuffed.

One of the drawings I always wanted to make was one of my character walking in a rain of sparks... Making hundred thousand solid little points of light boucing and falling, that would be so cool.

It would be so much easier to just make hentai or close up to popular characters.... But, naaah (I still will make hentai and close up from time to time lol)
User avatar #441 to #440 - groulgarigon ONLINE (10/31/2015) [-]
You might be. A lot of being an artist has very little to do with art. A lot of it is being your own boss and learning when to say no to your impulse desires. Of course in order to do that you require a lot and continuous self reflection and find out who you are as a person and what you want to be as an artist.

Lots of people have dreams. Not everyone meets them. I don't mean this in a demotivating way. I simply mean there are certain things you need to know that not everyone seems to. Goal setting and accomplishing, motivation tactics, self discipline (which is a big one that many people who work for someone else take for granted. They don't need self discipline because their discipline comes from an extrensic source. Not themselves. Typically their boss or schedule. You need to learn to be your own boss and set your own schedule and develop the mindset that what you plan is sacred and CAN'T be broken. I recommend starting on small things to help build this habit.) My first step on becoming self sufficient as corny as it might sound started with this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbkZrOU1Zag I was having trouble getting out of bed so I set this as my alarm so I would hear it every day. I won't bore you with details but it did help.

I say you take some time out of your commission time and devote a little bit of time a day to working on your dream pictures. Things you want to do and see from yourself. Put it in a portfolio and start sending it off. After all the only difference between people who work in the industry and people who don't is actually sending in a portfolio! That is of course if that is your goal. People spend their whole lives working for themselves and that's okay too!

Well you know the old saying. "There's an easy way and then there's the right way." Maybe hentai is the right way for you but I recommend a good deal of self analysis first before you decide.
User avatar #442 to #441 - devilicious (11/01/2015) [-]
I saw your reply yesterday but then I lost internet due a hailstorm...

Hmmm I want people to love my characters and my story as I love it, my dream is to become an artist able to make that possible, more like a guide or a door instead of the creator that has full control of their destiny, I want to transmit that kind of feeling. So my resolve and discipline is aimed to that.

That video was amazing bro, would be cool if we can edit the last part (the alarm noise) to make it even louder. I get what you mean, the first thing that has changed in my habits was the daily sketches, I don't want to miss a day!

I hope DA and Tumblr can help me spread my name and my art... For now DA is doing the trick, you make a fanart and then if you have 50 watchers you get at least 30 views... Plus 100 or 200 from people looking normally... and then if you're good some groups will request to have your work (or you can submit them yourself to them and wait if they approve it), some groups have over 3000 or even 10.000 subscribers so that helps a loooooooooot. Man you should be there and any artist should consider be there too...Despite the art thieves and some cringe people, the benefit is worth it.

I write a lot huh? I try to avoid that sometimes hehehe because is mostly "I ...Me... My..." but let me remind you that I act like this with you because you're one of the best artist here and I respect you, writing you and reading about you is always nice and very helpful. The artist I want to be should have at least half of your determination

Aawww man! the wacom 4 is expensive!! like .... A lot! (for me), it would be a great investment but over 200 $ is out of my reach... I'll try getting the cth 680 first (the one I was aiming for before)... Try how is like to have a medium size tablet with pressure sensor and get better with that.

When I become a better artist (I almost say "If" but nope, I must believe) I'll get that wacom 4 brand new.
User avatar #436 to #435 - devilicious (09/04/2015) [-]
Thank you! oh yes I will... I need to study the hands a lot (and... everything), that was one of my most feared weakness and I'm trying to improve them.
I'm also downloading tooooons of reference... Following this guy for example that makes crazy fast drawings almost every day. www.pixiv.net/member_illust.php?id=2210449&type=all&p=4

How is like for you? working in something specific right now?
#428 - devilicious (08/18/2015) [-]
Hello ! how're ya?

I'm planning to get a Wacon intous 3 (someday hopefully soon...), I noticed that my current basic tablet doesn't have pressure sensors like ... Any other drawing tablet, I always wondered why people were able to make cool sharp lines with one stroke.

What do you use ?
User avatar #430 to #428 - groulgarigon ONLINE (08/18/2015) [-]
I actually use a Cintiq. I've always used Wacom brand. Only one time did I use another type of tablet and it died in the first two weeks. Wacom is expensive but durable. It will last through a nuclear holocaust and no pen battery either.
User avatar #431 to #430 - devilicious (08/18/2015) [-]
I just googled that brand, HOLY ZEN D: is like what my favorite artist use too... Okay, new goal set XD
User avatar #432 to #431 - groulgarigon ONLINE (08/18/2015) [-]
Well instead of trying to mimic the tools that I use probably best to find out what works best for you! It's good that you set goals for yourself but setting the right goals can be much more beneficial to you! Do get the intuos 3 or 4 it's an amazing tablet and very convenient. But don't let that stop you from practicing!
User avatar #433 to #432 - devilicious (08/18/2015) [-]
Hehehe do not worry, right now all I want is the intuos and a new keyboard... 1000 to 3000$ ? That's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out of my league right now (I see that happening maybe in like 3 years). I'm excited to get the intuos 3 and If I'm lucky the 4... Let's just hope everything goes alright, but trust me ... I'm aiming very high but with baby steps :3 it doesn't make sense to have the top equipment if I don't even know master the basics of drawings in tablet yet.

Sorry I don't really explore DA too much anymore. Mind shooting me a link?
#424 to #422 - groulgarigon ONLINE (08/02/2015) [-]
Alright so here's the bare basics of what makes this style so appealing and things you should practice to achieve it without copying.

Good Shape Juice- The poses are all dynamic and no two are exactly the same. This shows your skills in the art of form and makes your comic seem dynamic. Practice Gesture to get down dynamism and study anatomy to get down form.
www.quickposes.com/

Foreshortening- Basically body perspective which is super complicated. I still have trouble with it. Study old marvel comics. Spiderman is always a good choice.

Sex Appeal- This one's obvious but considering what your audience here is saying they don't want sexualized characters. The "Oh this is only popular because boobs" argument. It's up to you to either listen or ignore it.

Basic Color Theory- The colors in that comic aren't absolutely amazing. It's actually pretty basic rules. Dark background against pastel color characters makes the characters pop out much better which is good since they are the subject. Pastel just means the colors are really bright with moderate saturation. A very pure form of color without much darkness.

And that's it. Hopefully that helps for style. Let me know when you need help with ears.

hehe thanks for the info dude (/^-^)/

Have you ever thought about when you post pictures on the art board about telling peoplle about the backstory of the picture? Like what's meant to be happening in it. Because I seem to be able make my best crticisms when I have a story to work off of. I'm still coming up with criticisms about the hyena and leopard drawing.
You can fix the choking part by putting the hyenas hand underneath the leopards jaw and shading his hand so his tendons show through making it look like he's actually choking the leopard.
you also said that having the battle wounds in the drawing would have made it look like the leopard and hyena fought there for making it a rape scene. This could be fixed by having having empty potion bottles in the scene. You could have an empty lust potion near the leopard showing the viewer that he was responsible for spiking the health potion. To further support that you could also have a tipped over health potion near the hyena with the colours of the health potion and lust potion mixing together.
The final critique is the the hyena's teeth which are startingly white. When I think of hyena, I think of someone barbaric and barbarians aren't exactly known for their dental hygene.

I have before but an image that requires a story to fill the context is just lazy on the artists part. The art should capture the story. I realize I made errors in some parts but I am still learning. I've made mistakes and that's good because they'll be fixed in the next one. :A
User avatar #353 to #352 - dragontamers ONLINE (02/20/2015) [-]
I didn't mean with all your pictures just the ones that have a story written in conjunction with it, like this one.

Hey man, I'm not too sure if you remember me. You did that sick mass effect drawing for me almost a year ago, not sure if you remember but anyways, I was wondering if your schedule is free at all. I might have a few more drawings for you to do. This time, it's for a very special project. I'll fill you in on the details if you're interested. Let me know and if our schedules will allow it, hopefully you can help me again

alright bro, thanks anyways.
User avatar #346 - aldkai (02/19/2015) [-]
Uuh fag I have to ask you

How do you do properly INTERESTING poses

Do you have to make it like the character is doing an action or make some extreme perspectives

Because it seems all I can ever come up with it's "default standing"

And this kills the art
User avatar #347 to #346 - groulgarigon ONLINE (02/19/2015) [-]
Hmmm.... Let's see...

My first thought process is come up with a good flow of movement, which I've learned from watching people, studying poses, learning anatomy, and drawing gesture... a lot.

If you really want to study flow movement, look at Ryan Woodward's work.
Here's an animation by him: www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBk3ynRbtsw

Notice how the form of either character is never really defined. The entire project is focused on flow of movement and nothing else. A laser focus on the specific point your trying to get across in each step is really imperative. Just starting out- need to focus on form balance flow of movement and composition balance. (Composition balance is rule of thirds or golden ratio or whatever design principle you follow regarding positive and negative space) After that- Time to refine the form to the point that it's absolutely certain what the form looks like and what it's doing. (this is when knowledge of anatomy and reference come most into play) You probably use a different technique from me so the rest will probably be up to you. x)

I hope that helps.
User avatar #356 to #347 - aldkai (02/23/2015) [-]
Well would you look at this,I come back for two days and I already get stalkers again. It's no wonder I left. FJ's full of spiteful 12 years old that waste their day away screaming or whining, that are so obssessed they're going to stalk the latest comments of some random internet dude that, for some reason, they started to hate. What's with this place, really?
User avatar #357 to #356 - groulgarigon ONLINE (02/23/2015) [-]
Meh it happens. I figure there's two ways to think about it. A) They really are 12 years olds and as such their opinions should not be respected or listened to and they should be manipulated to do our bidding or B) They aren't 12 year olds and they can be reasoned with if given the proper stimulus. just gotta find the right ways to rub some people.
User avatar #360 to #357 - aldkai (02/23/2015) [-]
I'm not so sure they're reasonable.I say 12 years old because to me that's how a 12 years old act,it's all about unreasonable emotions. I'm glad I'm not like that anymore, there's a time in it for everyone of us. Some don't evolve beyond that and you get SJWs or people obsessed with something, like furry or america or anime.

While this is all nice on how little I should care about that I still manage to,because in fact I want to understand their reasons. I mean that's kind of weird isn't it? Are those internet places just a community hub for everyone angry?
User avatar #361 to #360 - groulgarigon ONLINE (02/23/2015) [-]
Trying to understand others is a noble gesture, but even if you understand why someone does something you still may not like their reasons.

I've found that FJ has more of a live and let live attitude. As long as you don't talk **** about them or draw unnecessary attention to yourself, most of them will just leave you alone because most of them really are here just to have a laugh or two. There are some who are here to be assholes but they are the minority and like most minorities should be ignored. (Racist joke. Hahah)

In the end, if someone's being a dick, being a dick back won't do anything for anyone except make you both look like assholes. Just ignore the guy.
User avatar #363 to #361 - aldkai (02/23/2015) [-]
Well, last time I was stating how there were SJWs who infiltrated the world of american comics and science-fiction writings (and even ended whole careers like this,if you ever wonder why science-fiction is more about gay space dinosaurs than actual science and fiction...),and I got attacked for that. I deduced there are people that are just reacting to react, they just oppose you with no reason at all other than to disagree with you. Doesn't matter if you say white,or black,or if they ever agree with you, they'll just want to disagree aggressively. It's strange and yet I feel like this is a logical psychological act.
User avatar #365 to #363 - groulgarigon ONLINE (02/23/2015) [-]
You probably should have just let it end at your explanation instead of calling people out and saying they're reacting just to react. Because if that were true then telling them that would only have made them react again. This is what I mean by rubbing people the right way. Sometimes you have to use different wording to manipulate the reactionary dumb dumbs out there.

Also people have their opinions. They're allowed to be wrong and a good sum of people may even agree with their wrong opinion. This place is kind of weird in that, you can have a wrong opinion as long as it's funny. If you're comment sounds like it's taking things too seriously, nobody's going to listen to it. Sometimes you have to throw a self depracating joke in their to let them know you're not all high and mighty and are in fact self aware. You may be already but they don't know that and they think you're trying to tell them what to do.

When you insult their opinion it's like you're insulting them. The more reactionary and non-thinking of this particular group of people will always call you out and do their best to point out any hypocrisies in your statement. And yes the hypocrisies that they exude are ever prevelant, like the mental gymnastics they have to go through to point out your flawed argument on SJW's and their mental gymnastics, but sometimes you just have to ignore them.
User avatar #367 to #365 - aldkai (02/23/2015) [-]

And what do you find is the problem with it?
User avatar #368 to #366 - aldkai (02/23/2015) [-]
It's...Uninteresting. Where's the volume? My style doesn't show in the anatomy. There's no perspective,it's just some noise on paper.
#369 to #368 - groulgarigon ONLINE (02/23/2015) [-]
Your anatomy is absolutely fine. It's stylized and well put together and proportioned. The pose is stiff and flat to be sure. There is no crossing of the form letting you know what's foreground middleground or background. For example you could let the tail curl the other way and have it droop a little as though it's hovering above the ground. this way the form of the tail crosses the form of the legs. It gives the form overlap and gives the most basic sense of space for your character. To solve the stiffness issue, again I recommend trying out gesture. It is amazing at helping you grasp flow of movement. Lessons you learn from doing gesture can be applied directly to your process and improve your would-be bland poses and make them interesting.
User avatar #371 to #369 - aldkai (03/04/2015) [-]
Yeah I guess until I can,I'll have to compensate by crazier setups.

Make it look like something that is owned by an ultra wealthy COO with a massive ego

You need make her the most selfish, uncaring princess ever so you need an office that represents her mood

When you think COO office what kind of ego do you imagine.
User avatar #317 to #316 - groulgarigon ONLINE (01/16/2015) [-]
Expensive art pieces from foreign countries. Gigantic portrait of herself. Perhaps a weapon designed by her and manufactured by her company hanging on her wall. Various awards and certificates hanging on the wall she has achieved over her lifetime. Etc.
User avatar #318 to #317 - murrlogic ONLINE (01/16/2015) [-]
You had me at Gigantic portrait

In the portrait itself you can have a much happier version of her laughing with money raining from the sky. Really helps cement she will always ALWAYS choose money over humanity

User avatar #319 to #318 - groulgarigon ONLINE (01/16/2015) [-]
The money raining thing seems a bit heavy handed. Almost comical and ruinous of the drama you're trying to build.
User avatar #320 to #319 - murrlogic ONLINE (01/16/2015) [-]
M8

Asami's ego is suppose to be comical. In the background you have a picture representing her true personality but in the actual argument Korra sees that painting isn't a joke
User avatar #321 to #320 - groulgarigon ONLINE (01/16/2015) [-]
Oooh I hadn't gotten that impression. Perhaps I could make her pose more lighthearted as to imply her brushing off of Korra's grief with her as whimsy.
User avatar #322 to #321 - murrlogic ONLINE (01/17/2015) [-]
Sorry if it seems like I am being picky choosy right now

I want her to be evil. Evil in a way where she think humanity is like a giant tox box filled with **** for her to break on purpose

the kind of evil where she could go up to Korra and be like "Burning down that orphanage was hilarious. I drank a whole glass of orphan tears then I went home and masturbated on a massive pile of money. oh and I dont pay taxes because I despise charity."

Really really REALLY selfish. The kind of selfish who would mine down a mountain just to get her hands on Diamonds. So uncaring toward the environment she rapes rainforests clean just to have soft toilet paper or toothpicks for her sandwiches

That kind of evil
User avatar #323 to #322 - groulgarigon ONLINE (01/17/2015) [-]
Oh the Capcom brand of evil. xD
User avatar #324 to #323 - murrlogic ONLINE (01/17/2015) [-]
>Capcom brand of evil

I dont understand
User avatar #325 to #324 - groulgarigon ONLINE (01/17/2015) [-]
Don't worry it's just a personal joke. xD Anyway, no you're not being too picky. Probably my favorite commissioner thusfar. Because what people normally do is tell me, "Hey draw me something" here's a roll of $20s, go nuts." And I'm like alright what would you like? And they shrug and go just draw whatever and when given the option of everything, I can't think of anything.

You're very straightforward with what you want and I appreciate that.

At any rate what amount were you willing to spend on this?
User avatar #326 to #325 - murrlogic ONLINE (01/17/2015) [-]
I have on me $140

I need at least $50 of it for a another project

That is about $90

I know you were looking at about something a little higher but...that is as far as I can go

Maybe. If you can actually give me your word you can warp her personality that hard. Maybe even harder like "I am the proud owner of a hummer limosine that takes up 12 spaces. I'm just that entitled"
#327 to #326 - groulgarigon ONLINE (01/17/2015) [-]
I normally don't have trouble warping personalities. Just need a proper direction to go in, which you've supplied. Not so sure I can guarantee anything aside from the fact that I don't charge full price up front and there's no obligation to pay until it's finished.

That being said at $90 I can a colored sketch. Slightely better quality than this picture.
User avatar #328 to #327 - murrlogic ONLINE (01/17/2015) [-]
So for $90 we're looking at

>Very angry Korra arguing her point with completely uncaring Asami as assholish and spoiled as you can draw her
>the conversation taking place in her office which has a massive portrait of her being delightfully cruel and obviously evil

**** you can even have her sipping a glass of wine as she cares even littiler about what Korra has to tell her
User avatar #329 to #328 - groulgarigon ONLINE (01/17/2015) [-]
That appears to be the size of it yiss.

I can get some pretty vivid idea from this to make Asami appear as cartoonishly evil as possible.
User avatar #330 to #329 - murrlogic ONLINE (01/17/2015) [-]
Or as you refer to it as Capcom evil. I'm trusting your judgement on this.

Like she needs to be so uncaring that by the time she's done with this conversation she has money to masturbate on like she does every hour of every day

And it's in color so for $90 I say I am quite sexually aroused
User avatar #331 to #330 - groulgarigon ONLINE (01/17/2015) [-]
I'm getting a vision of her drinking a glass of chardonnay out of the skulls of one of the orphan children from the orphanage she blew up last week. That kind of evil.
User avatar #332 to #331 - murrlogic ONLINE (01/17/2015) [-]
And using their blood as nail polish. She does enjoy a good war since her company ***** out weapons on a daily basis.

So I dont have to pay this until it's finished you say?
User avatar #333 to #332 - groulgarigon ONLINE (01/17/2015) [-]
There is a 20% of the final amount as down payment but other than that nope.
User avatar #334 to #333 - murrlogic ONLINE (01/17/2015) [-]
What? Down payment

Wouldn't it make sense just to give you all the money at once so there is no down payment

That entire $90 I am giving you will go on a disposable visa which I will buy at a CVS down the street

Since its a disposable visa I will give you the card number for you to put in your paypal account and not feel awkward about it.
User avatar #266 to #265 - groulgarigon ONLINE (01/16/2015) [-]
Yeah I'm working on that. What's up?
User avatar #295 to #266 - murrlogic ONLINE (01/16/2015) [-]
Before we get into that

>I have a pretty interesting/hilarious idea I could work with.

Explain this idea
User avatar #296 to #295 - groulgarigon ONLINE (01/16/2015) [-]
right it would be a picture of Asami firing into a non-descript crowd (to keep cost minimal) with Tommy guns like you asked, shouting, " **** everything but my money!" Lorra meanwhile being closer to foreground doing something relative to how you feel about her. Haven't thought that part out yet.
User avatar #297 to #296 - murrlogic ONLINE (01/16/2015) [-]
I'm not really feeling this idea

You need to make Korra look like she has been dealing with this **** for months and its now reached the point where it's gotten completely out of control. She cant take this **** anymore

Meanwhile Asami who is equally losing patience with Korra telling her like a child what she can and cant do which you cant instruct a person with her massive bank account to not do whatever the **** she wants

How about an original idea. From you. Humor me.
User avatar #298 to #297 - groulgarigon ONLINE (01/16/2015) [-]
That last one was an original idea. Perhaps I got the wrong impression of what you wanted.

So an interaction between Korra and Asami is necessary then, just to clarify?
User avatar #299 to #298 - murrlogic ONLINE (01/16/2015) [-]
A brief one but a Theore one

You see those comics I posted? Jay may have drew them but the Dialouge was all me

I gave him a script then he draws what the script looks like in his head

You can have Korra and Asami talk about anything so long as there is scolding involved. Here is an example

>You bulldozed a rainforest to build a strip mall? Why?!

> **** you Korra! your avatar ideals aren't laws! The day you tell me what I can and cant do is the day I give a **** about our "friendship"

You really need to make them hate each other.
User avatar #300 to #299 - groulgarigon ONLINE (01/16/2015) [-]
Ooh... hmm another idea then.

A waist up picture of them at side shot, Asami at a slightly more dominant angle to insinuate she controls the conversation. Accusatory pointing fingers all around.

User avatar #309 to #308 - groulgarigon ONLINE (01/16/2015) [-]
I don't know. I don't share the same perspective as you so I'm forced to go off of implied perspective mixed with their cannon personality. Something along the lines of:

A: Look Korra, the money made from the selling of these munitions is what is funding republic city. The capitol building, the spirit world integration project, and the now illegal probending competitions that you love so much.

K: But the weapons you sell are being used to oppress those who can't even defend themselves because they had the poor judgement to invest their time in making a living for themselves instead of buying guns. We have guys with sticks fighting off thugs with tommy guns!

#289 to #288 - murrlogic ONLINE (01/16/2015) [-]
Favorite rendition

The one where she betrays Team Korra because Korra is too mentally inefficient to handle her ******* job

And since Asami is borderline sociopathic because she didn't have loving parents, has WAY too much money and a near psychotic obsession with building machines I am greatly aroused at my waifu giving no ***** about anyone but herself and her need to be wealthier

As for Korra...Either dead, begging for mercy, or has finally reached the realization Asami just does not want to be her friend anymore...or ever.

User avatar #270 to #269 - groulgarigon ONLINE (01/16/2015) [-]
Any style that isn't my own.

You can ask lots of artists this they'll give you a similar answer. Though the end goal is to get to a method of drawing that I like, I can't help but look at others and stress over how they did that much better and at a faster pace.

But I'd say I like painting and painterly styles the most. Colors are complex and interesting and finding out how they blend is really fun to do.

You ever hear of an artist named Javis?

He's a personal friend and long time client of mine

He draws for me and I pay him
User avatar #272 to #271 - groulgarigon ONLINE (01/16/2015) [-]
Heard of him yeah. He's not bad. Though he's more successful than me so what do I know. xD

So what about him?
#273 to #272 - murrlogic ONLINE (01/16/2015) [-]
Since I made mention of favorite art atyles his is bar none my standard

Vibrant with color, expressions ever, Jay is a professional he knows what he's doing

Looks like a pop-up book

Color might be an issue since I'm still learning though I'm not too shabby with expressions. Though not to be rude I'm still wondering why you're telling me this? xD

I'm guessing you'd like a commission?
#275 to #274 - murrlogic ONLINE (01/16/2015) [-]
Well Geez friend that's certainly a bold statement

It's not like I need Javis to work on my comics while I need another guy on the side to work on porn projects for me

Sorry man. I didn't mean to offend you, I was just curious.

Looking at your username I probably should have expected that. So what will it be then?
#277 to #276 - murrlogic ONLINE (01/16/2015) [-]
>Looking at your username I probably should have expected that.

Hold up

Stop right there

User avatar #278 to #277 - groulgarigon ONLINE (01/16/2015) [-]

#279 to #278 - murrlogic ONLINE (01/16/2015) [-]

#282 to #281 - groulgarigon ONLINE (01/16/2015) [-]
Good to hear. In case you were wondering this is the rough quality of my work.
#283 to #282 - murrlogic ONLINE (01/16/2015) [-]
Looks like a painting

What can I say I am a sucker for vibrant color
User avatar #284 to #283 - groulgarigon ONLINE (01/16/2015) [-]

#264 - dragontamers ONLINE (12/25/2014) [-]
Got a hold of a crude photo editor so I touched the profile pic.
User avatar #260 - dragontamers ONLINE (12/01/2014) [-]
Designs are finished. Just in case you didn't get the ping.
User avatar #261 to #260 - groulgarigon ONLINE (12/01/2014) [-]
Oh those are pretty cool. x) Thank you very much for doing that! Sorry I've just been away from the net building my computer. x)
User avatar #262 to #261 - dragontamers ONLINE (12/01/2014) [-]
Oh, what are the specs?
User avatar #263 to #262 - groulgarigon ONLINE (12/01/2014) [-]
8 gigs RAM at 12800 which is the bottleneck, Hexcore AMD processor at 3.5 gHz, high end GDDR5 graphics card, 600 Watts, and an SSD with 120 Gigs
#258 - dragontamers ONLINE (11/29/2014) [-]
I just finished the picture. I also made another one because seeing you're character is rather fluffy I thought the first design was too pointy. Also sorry, I don't know how to change the canvas size so the picture's rather big.
#259 to #258 - dragontamers ONLINE (11/29/2014) [-]
Second one.
User avatar #248 - dragontamers ONLINE (11/27/2014) [-]
If you didn't like pictures you can just say so. I wouldn't be offended.
User avatar #249 to #248 - groulgarigon ONLINE (11/27/2014) [-]
What?
User avatar #251 to #249 - dragontamers ONLINE (11/27/2014) [-]
I never got any reply on the designs I made for you.
User avatar #244 - dragontamers ONLINE (11/21/2014) [-]
I'm surprised how quickly I finished these. So feel free to pick one or if there are any aspects of one of the designs that you would like on another or if you would like a completey different design from the ones shown.
#245 to #244 - dragontamers ONLINE (11/21/2014) [-]
G for Groulgarigon.
User avatar #250 to #245 - groulgarigon ONLINE (11/27/2014) [-]
Oh sorry! I didn't realize you sent them! I didn't get that pingy thing. I like this one a lot.
User avatar #252 to #250 - dragontamers ONLINE (11/27/2014) [-]
Oh, good brilliant I'll get started on the digital version as soon as I can. I just need to get a few things out of the way first. Massive hail storm just hit and I have to clean up the aftermath.
User avatar #253 to #252 - groulgarigon ONLINE (11/27/2014) [-]
Best of luck to ye.
User avatar #256 to #253 - dragontamers ONLINE (11/27/2014) [-]
Knowing what colour you want on the design saves me a lot of time.
User avatar #257 to #256 - groulgarigon ONLINE (11/27/2014) [-]
Orange and blue with a bit of low saturated neon green in there.
User avatar #255 to #253 - dragontamers ONLINE (11/27/2014) [-]
Just remembered. Do you want it coloured? If so what colours? Do you want it black on white, white on black or the colour of your character with a background colour that is compliments blue and orange?
User avatar #254 to #253 - dragontamers ONLINE (11/27/2014) [-]
Serves us right for having palm trees in theback yard.
