Dude, the thing is: Other M takes place very late in the timeline. Samus has already fought Ridley like 5 times and never did she whine like a bitch, where is the sense in doing this now? Also, the idea of her suit deactivating itself when she has stress is retarded.

The gameplay was also horrible, Metroid always was about non-linearity and exploration not about streamlined corridors and m-muh emotions. In all of her missions, she never was a helpless woman, though she did show emotions, even if they were much more subtle.
