The East Coast Brotherhood also aren't the isolationist nutjobs that the West Coast are. Yeah, they believe that technology should be kept in the hands of the Brotherhood but they still recruit from the population. Meaning they have a larger pool of manpower than the West Coast chapters that refused to let any outsiders in.

If the NCR gets that far east, they will have resources and manpower as well as equipment roughly equal to the BoS because they salvage EVERYTHING. They would have literally the rest of the continent to draw men and equipment from.

If the NCR and East Coast Brotherhood ever came into conflict, it'd likely be somewhere in the middle of the continent because the Brotherhood isn't going to stop expanding either.

The east coast brotherhood is too bogged down by being ineffective twats biting off more than they can chew and being generally bad at resource management to actually expand to the point of being a threat to the nation the NCR is building.

That was the result of the Divide fucking up supply lines. Before that everything was going perfectly for them. Now that they have New Vegas, there's nothing stopping them from fixing that issue.

Let me put this into perspective. The NCR took on the west coast Brotherhood when they were less than a quarter the size they were in New Vegas. Compared to the east coast, which is just the remnants of an expeditionary force, the west coast brotherhood was

-better organized
-more heavily fortified
-better equipped
-had superior training

Sure, the east coast has Liberty Prime, but the NCR has an orbital laser, aircraft, shitloads of anti-armor weaponry, probably tanks and shit too. They also have the stated goal of expansion, which isn't even a secondary goal for the east coast Brotherhood. If a conflict were to occur, the NCR would come in full-force and steamroll them with their superior numbers and almost limitless resources. Just like they did with the west coast.

They use T-60 in fallout 4. Second best Power Armor in the game.
And they obliterated the Enclave at every turn.
It was wrecked once before, and was remade to be much better.

if those early NCR soldiers from F2 can contend with the enclave and their better armor with just sheer numbers, I guarantee you post Vegas NCR can deal with the T-60's fine and with experience fighting and wining against assholes with Power Armor they'd develop strategies and equipment against them. namely fielding their own Power Armor units. sure they were salvaged from dead enclave and bos soldiers but hey they work.
