Yeah, I didn't really like MW3 (I only played the SP campaign though). The main problem with it was that it wasn't done by the same people behind CoD:4, which I thought was fantastic. Most of the people responsible for it left after MW2 if I recall correctly. But thanks a lot for the feedback, I'll be sure to give BO2 a try!

Yeah, that's true, though I've been hearing lots of shit on BO2, have you played it? is the lag really that bad? I did prefer Infinity Ward over Treyarch but now that IW seems to have fallen to pieces...

I have played it extensively. Personally, it is the best yet. Maybe it is because I have gotten used to the occasional lag spike and the undertone of constant lag, but honestly, that is just CoD to me. I really prefer Treyarch because it seems that they put more effort into their games. I hated MW3 because it was unoriginal, unfinished, sloppy and overall frustrating. IW lost my respect after that game. BO2 though has been a great experience for me and Treyarch seems to have put plenty of time into making it more original that any CoD after CoD 4.

I think CoD2 has dedicated servers on the PC, but man, MW2 was by far the largest mess. They completely fucked it up with IWnet, the lag was horrendous sometimes, it would put you in a match, then have you search for a host for half an hour, then when it found the host the game would lag... there were just some pretty fundamental problems with it which made the whole thing rushed.

Not to mention that it doesn't even work for me anymore and the support isn't doing anything to fix the error or tell us how to fix it...

Well shit, man. That sounds rough. Stuff like that only happens on consoles when the games aren't being watched anymore. By that I mean that it isn't the newest CoD out, so no official cares to monitor it anymore. However, now that I think about it, MW2 has been the worst CoD that I have gone BACK to. I guess it is, you have more problems with hacking but on the other side, quickscoping is no longer a problem because it doesn't help you aim with the sniper. So basically anybody quickscoping is gonna have a hard time doing anything, and hardscoping is the only way to go. Otherwise, I dunno, I guess it's just kinda easier to aim and whatnot, or at least it feels more natural to me.

Though there are 2 kinds of hackers, there are hackers who use aimbots and stuff to get high scores, and then there were hackers who hacked servers to give people exp boosts. Also MW2 has major problems with the servers on PC(no dedicated servers), I don't think the other CoD games have it.

there are dedicated servers for MW2 actually. lolRenaynay was playing MW2 on PC dedicated servers using the 4Delta1 mod for MW2. check it out.

I will, especially since it's not letting me join the servers through iwnet itself anymore because of some odd error; I'm not sure if this is because of iwnet or because of the game itself though. Thanks for the tip, I will give it a try.

The scoping thing is interesting. Thanks, I don't really mind quick scoping anymore, "do what you want to when you play" is my philosophy. However, I personally find it easier to aim on a console, so to each their own.
