| Well, current theories state that an atom at absolute zero and absolute heat would possible disassemble, as the nucleus of an atom is held together via subatomic particles and the attraction between them, there is no atomic shell as far as we know. So, you end up theoretically with a split atom at absolute zero, but since there's no energy, there's no boom, just single subatomic particles. This could in theory pave the way for real world alchemy, as you could take the protons of an element, and give them energy again to force them to create whatever you wanted. At absolute hot though, I would expect a big boom, whether its just a nuke or a big bang idk. Hmm! Now that is kind of exciting actually, the thought of using a machine similar to the large hedron collider to achieve absolute zero temperatures for a fraction of a moment in order to change one substance into another. That's cool as hell, and is also a very nice contrast to the projected big bang 2.0 that is likely to take place at absolute hot. Thanks for all this info based chemist anon. | ||

| No, we have theories, VSauce did a video on it that's pretty good. But put simply, assuming we had a way to infinitely funnel energy into an atom, we don't know if there is an absolute hot. Currently, we figure it would either initiate another big bang due to the sheer amount of energy in one place, as e=mc^2 and all that, or it would 'melt', but that's more of a physics thing. Yeah, I just watched the vsauce vid. Based Yugioh Kris above us shared, was really interesting stuff. Now I'm curious as to the effects of something reaching above Planckt temps versus absolute zero. I feel like I remember some funky stuff happening at absolute zero, but I'm not too sure. Still, would be interesting to compare and contrast the two. Thank you for your message about why not to commit suicide, I've been going through tough times lately and I look to it each time
There was this one girl on advice board that offered some crapsack **** advice on life and that made me .. damn, that made me feel bad. It wasn't even to me, yet I reacted anyway, that's how bad it was.

Thank you, yes, sometimes when in bad positions I just think "I just need to walk right through the fire" if you understand what I mean
We've got a problem - the file is too large. Do you use Dropbox or Google Drive?
I do not unfortunately.
What you could do is always send me a link to the site that it comes from and I can download it/look at it at my leisure... unless it's a file you've already downloaded and want to send to me.
In which case a possible solution would be to put it into a .zip folder or turn it into a .rar file that I can open up with winrar.

I can't compress the files - I don't have any software that can do it.
Bummer. I guess the only thing to do then would be to either give me a link to where I can download it myself or direct me to the site I can download stuff, 'cause to be honest I don't much fancy making a new account on dropbox or google drive...

Here you go. You might need to sign in, first.

Do it if you feel like it.
Also, the core rulebook is a bit late. Damn, that thing is huge.

Well I'd rather a book be huge and have any and all necessary info than to have it scattered about in several books (It kind of annoys me that DnD has a core rule book as well as a bunch of other books that could have gone into the first one, like a book for gods and monsters and such)
