The sound though, oh god. I can do U2 on that thing. I want it, need it. White one with a green guard. Funkier than a strat.

Much easier to get as well, I'd say, unless you'd go for a copy. I personally think the little Harmonies are cooler. Especially with the sharp headstock..it's so funky. "I'm vintage - oh wait, no I'm not." I want one of the old basses like that.

I honestly don't care what the headstock is like, I'm gonna be banging on it anyway, so I just want the guitar. I dig that particular model though, it's my favorite Teisco shape. I'm tempted to dig a bit out of the pickguard and fit a dogear p90 in the bridge. That'd kick ass.

The only thing I do not like about the newer ones is that there is no pickup switch, so it's both on all the time. Not that I mind that tone; I just prefer to be able to choose it. Unless the controls are both volumes; I haven't played one. Wouldn't mind that. I like the older ones with the big chrome pickups; I think it's cool that they basically kept them the same with regards to hardware and appearance.

I want the singles, personally. They're probably tallboys, too. I'd re-wire it to vol/vol if it wasn't anyway, like a Fender '51. I ike the idea of it. The white and black looks good, I wanna go Johnny Ramone on it. Immediately what I think of.

They're not Tallboys; I saw a pic just earlier today of the insides, and they're just normal Strat units. And, same here...white/black guitars immediately make me think of Johnny's Mk. II.
