The marks are supposed to indicate what their special talent is, as far as I know the marks don't actually serve any purpose aside from advertising that specific pone's skill to others, and notifying the bearer what there skill is when they find it. My guess is the crown indicates DT's skill at being a queen bitch, and the spoon indicates SS's skill is being a spoiled brat (or it could be a buttplug disguised as a spoon like logamadder said).

The cutie mark is a symbol of your talent

Or what you do exceedingly well

Granted one could joke that her special talent is "spooning" or that it symbolizes her excelling at being a snobby five year old or however old she is I dunno bitch

Her name is Silver Spoon so I would assume that the cutie mark symbolizes that she is from a wealthy family and is able to easily get what she wants

That's being put rather simply tho, her parents are indeed wealthy, it's still only my guess

As for the one on the left, name being Golden Diamond* Tiara, I have no idea what her talent is supposed to be

Maybe she's just pretty and good at winning beauty pageants

She's the dumber of the two so I guess beauty over brains?

They're two of three that make up that token trio of snobby white rich popular girls in elementary school

In the scene depicted they're showing off that they have their cutie marks and trying to get the new kid in school to join their group of bullies since they're superior

Any other questions feel free to summon me

I'm no expert tho, that would be Wikipedia

You could go there too

*I fucked up

I guess I should point out that calls are few and far between most of the time. Knock on wood I don't ruin this, but my department hasn't gotten a call for almost a month, but out neighboring station has been going out two or three times a week. There's no math to figuring out how often you'll get called, and it's probably bad juju to think about it.

Also, I'm not getting paid a dime since I'm a volunteer, I get money back for taxes (even though I don't have a job to worry about taxes, so really I'm doing this for the hell of it). I want to move to a city and go full time though, they usually work 24 hours on, 48 hours off.

I've been thinking of becoming a policeman or fireman in the future after possible military service. Anything you think I should know about being a destroyer of hells?
User avatar #24 - gjtz (03/17/2015) [-]
I've only been a fireman for total time about 18 months, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. But while I love being able to help people, I do it because I'm an adrenaline junkie and the Army turned me down, those smug fucks .

Thankfully, most of the time we get a call, it's usually something simple like a fallen tree branch or someone fell down (I live in the boonies, only volunteers out here).
Then you get an actual fire, like a brush fire or a structure fire, and that shit is just plain fun. It's hard and it'll tire you out really quick, but it's fun. Like, raging boner fun.
But then you get to the serious bits. Vehicle accidents with entrapment, structure fires with entrapment, and Medical Calls.
Vehicle accidents are pretty much 50/50. 50% chance you can, and will, get them to an ambulance before it's too late, and 50% chance they're dead on impact or clearly not going to make it. I've seen more dismembered body parts than I would like to say, and I'm not even 20 yet.
Structures with entrapment is pretty rare here in the boonies, so I couldn't tell you what that is like, but I spent most of my Fireman 1 and 2 training above three stories, and it's pretty terrifying.
Then Medical calls. I'm not licensed as an EMT, but I am 1st Responder certified (backboards, c collars, oxygen, that kinda stuff) and I responded to a call just last week where a patient was unresponsive. First on scene in my own truck with no gear, and the only time I've ever had to do CPR and I was doing it on someone that the EMTs assure me was already dead. I honestly think it's more stressful than anything else, because you don't have the chaos of a burning building or crushed car to make it feel like an emergency. You're in someones house, and it's a really odd tranquility. It's one of the things that has struck me the most so far, and it really wasn't even that big of an event.

TL;DR Do it if you want to feel awesome about helping people, want some awesome stories, and you want to be a part of a really fucked up, adrenaline junkie, nationwide family.

hey there, it's Admin. This is a copy/paste message but I went on your profile personally to post this.

I'm asking for help.
1) Site is having server issues and there's nothing I can do about it
2) Site is losing traffic and users, which makes me sad because this site is my baby and FJers are the only friend and family I have.
3) My life is falling apart (no one's fault but my own) and the only family I have is dying or going away.

It's all my fault and I take full responsibility. I think whining and blaming others is dumb. I'm just asking you to keep visiting the site and post frequently. I don't want my baby to die.

Thanks.
