Yes. Yes it is. You're the first person to mention it.

I'm assuming you have good music taste, then.

What is your opinion on Nightcap?

You are my new favourite person on this website. I find it hard to disagree.

wow, facebook not giving me notifications is one thing, but this is a new low for FJ. I've never heard of Nightcap. but I saw your name and considering Thick As A Brick 2 is playing through my headphones right now, I thought I'd ask if you've heard it.

YES. I've been waiting for it to come out since I first heard it was (I actually thought to notify you, but since you didn't respond, I thought maybe you weren't logging on), and then I completely forgot about it this month. Is it good? I was kind of upset that he did it without Martin, I'm still pretty excited.

And Nightcap is a collection of their (at the time) unreleased songs, and Disc 1 is devoted to the Chateau D'Isaster tapes (i.e. the precursor to A Passion Play), and probably represents the band at their peak. It's amazing.

Hah, I never log on. yeah, it definitely feels different, but it isn't by any means BAD; just not what I was expecting. yeah, It's with his solo band, not Tull, so it really isn't all that close. less rhythmic and fluty, more jarring and guitar. but it's great. my friend tells me the end will make me shit myself, I'm in the middle right now and must be off to dinner. it's free on Spotify. I'll buy it off Amazon eventually.

weird that I've never heard of that. I'll check it out alter tonight, sounds really interesting. I LOVED APPlay.

You were right. It's definitely not what I expected.

Ok, I'll listen to it now then.

And do. It shares some elements of APP, but it's got a lot more of that early carefree charm they had until then.
