I can't handle playing the archer classes, as I'm bad at most shooters so that playstyle was fucked up to me. My friend got into it though, and he says it's really awesome.

That's what I fucking love about Dragon's Dogma; every class isn't just a different set of numbers. It FEELS like a different playstyle, and that's how an RPG should work.

I beat the main game as a Sorcerer, though, because I wanted to see what the Dragon archstaff looked like. I use equipment based on appearances more often than not and it gimps me a lot.

Playing an archer in Skyrim actually helped me a lot with being a Ranger in Dragon's Dogma. I agree that this is a game I keep coming back to, despite the minor flaws. The story was interesting, the classes were all very unique as far as play style, and the DLC was just amazing as well. I'm really hoping the MMO - Dragon's Dogma Online - will not disappoint (assuming it comes to NA as well)!

Went through the whole of Dark Arisen as a Mystic Knight because holy fuck the amount of Light enchantments you should be taking there are too much for a regular Support mage. I would pump the party's entire arsenal with light magic, and then proceed to cleave and smite everything in the room.

Only issue I had with Dark Arisen was that it was kind of a bitch to navigate and there were too many insta-kill enemies. But I was happy with it because I was a good enough level to expect that kind of shit. lol

Very nice! Blessed Trance + Great Cannon = Perfect solution for Dark Arisen maps. The potential of that class was just great! After Mystic Knight, I got into Ranger a lot and loved being able to snipe stuff - really helpful against giant bosses. My last run was with a Magick Archer for the lols.
