“My daughter may have become a serial killer or worse, an animal abuser, if I had bought her the game,” she recalled, “I considered suing Nintendo right then for causing me so much distress all those years ago. Are there even any Christians at Nintendo?”
Reading this makes me want to punch a small child.

Well they straight up showed it when Finn and Jake were chasing the lich to that dude who gave them the wishes. In Finn's alternate world that was created when he wished the lich was never created, the Ice King was crushed by a nuke but stopped it from exploding. Finn then later set it off himself and killed everything he loved and in turn made Jake (who was just a normal non-talking dog in that world) into the lich.

I don't know man, it's completely possible. One con, me and a friend were walking around, he was dressed as Batman from Batman beyond. A little boy went up to him thinking he was really batman and wanted a picture. The kid then began asking my friend all these questions about stuff like how Robin was doing, of course my friend had never had this happen before, so he said he didn't really know what Robin was doing. The kid started to get this really worried look on his face and asked "You and Robin aren't friends?" He looked like he was about to lose it. I had to fucking cover for my friend and told the little kid that Robin was fighting crime while Batman was busy watching over the convention, but they would get together again afterwards. Kids are impressionable and you don't even have to be in a super convincing cosplay, as long as they can recognize what you are, they think you're the real thing.

Unless if you're a dick anon making up a story, that's real and true, I just hate pictures that people make a up a sad story to farm thumbs.
Example: Just a picture of a guy alone on a bench. "This man comes and sits where he met his wife every anniversary" or some sobby shit like that.
Just my two cents

No, I get that, I get what you mean, and that does happen, people do lie, But stuff like what the story is saying happen also does happen. I'm not saying that this is true in this particular picture, but in the world as a whole, sometimes good things do happen, and cute stories really happen. And no, I'm not making the story up. Of course you couldn't know because I don't have a picture of my friend and the little boy in question, but I do have pictures of my friend in the costume. That's one of the reasons little kids go to these things, they get to see their heros in real life, even though we as adults know that that's just a person in a costume, kids don't see the difference between the real and the fake. Hell, there have been a few cons that I've been to where little girls go running to people dressed up as Disney Princesses, assuming their really the person they are dressed up as. Besides, wouldn't it make more sense for me to log in and make up a story? Anons don't keep thumbs.

I know its bull shit. Do you know how many times this has been reposted? That's not the point I'm trying to make.
The point is, there needs to be people out there who are ready to set an example for kids. I don't know if this story is true but if a kid came up to me looking for help because I was dressed like Superman I'd be damn sure to live up to his standards

Noooo, like any company of 2013 they're about the money. You can tell by how badly they butchered charizard
#395 - gentlemanscholar (09/08/2013) [-]
I will admit that though they call it "Mega Charizard" it is not in fact, one million times better than the original. However, I am not against the idea of Mega evolutions. I have warmed up to the Fairy Type, and most of the other new additions.
Nintendo is about making money. Game Freak is about earning money
