Comment number 116. It's not so much that we hate them, but the people who shove their beliefs down everyone's throat. Many other subcultures deal with this issue, especially on the internet. Also, internets like making fun of people, and the easiest way to do that is to 1.) live differently by doing something a lot of people don't understand or 2.) like something different.

No one hates them for being vegetarians, it's just a lot of them have an "I'm better than you because you eat meat" attitude. Also they get super powers, so we're slightly jealous.

But all the cool vegetarians who aren't up in your face about being vegetarian stay quiet.
