I don't think it's right to tell people one story with media (I.E more skin is better) and then call them sluts for acting on that example set. Also we don't even know the entire story. For all we know the guy could've been straight ass sober and took advantage of her. We just ASSUME it's her fault without knowing the story, which is exactly what she was talking about in her sign. We've made it the girls fault, always. If you are responsible for your drunk actions then the man should've seen (drunk of not) that she was drunk and not have acted. You've gotten yourself in a paradoxical situation. If they are both responsible for their drunk actions then he IS a rapist because he shouldn't have had sex with a drunk girl. If she chooses to emulate it then it're her fault in the same way that if I was to emulate things I see on tv, let's say Jackass, then it would be my fault if I got hurt. While we don't know the whole story, we can assume that it has some degree of bias towards this girl since she wrote it. But even then, when you read it it does just sound like she wants to blame other people for her mistakes. I think that a person is responsible for the choices they make and if she chooses to dress that way and get very drunk then she is, at least to some extent, responsible for the consequences of that. | ||
