It wasn't until the end of 10th grade that i figured out how to always have a partner.
Establish yourself as the quiet smart kid. Always do your work and don't say shit about it., and people will want to be your partner. (you will do 99% of the work however) Here's a little story of what that got me.

Some fucking cunt in my one class tried to sign her name up for my one project (that fucking took me easily over 12 hours to finish) which I'd done solo. Suffice to say she isn't in my course anymore.

12 hours of typing to do the report, not counting breaks. I didn't count the time it took me to actually get the information I needed

I already considered it weird because i never had a schoolproject that took me less than 50h to make, with research and, if required, building shit and formatting the documentation. (my longest project was 193h of pure work, good thing i didn't have a life to begin with)

What the fuck? My project was a report consisting of 15000 words + graphs and diagrams, and didn't take me more than 20 hours total. So you spent over 600 hours a year just working on projects? That's fucking insane.

nah, i had a total of 3 project over 4 years.
one was a tesla coil
one was a pneumatic sandwich maker (horrible result)
and my final one was a secure door against break-ins

*Working on the assumption of about 6 classes and 1 project a semester, which is to my knowledge just about the norm

i had to do my projects at home
i was doing an apprenticeship, which mans i had 1 day of school while i work 4 days in a firm where i can get practical experience

Well I can tell you here and now that the "Free inhabitant" thing she claimed, does not exempt her from any laws. A free inhabitant simply referred to someone who wasn't a slave, homeless, on welfare or a convict. In the articles of Confederation, a free inhabitant was simply allowed to freely travel between the several states of the United States, the "catch" being that the free inhabitant should follow the laws of the state they were in, not the state they were from... Y'know pretty basic stuff, all the stuff she is raving was some shit that she made up.

And well, I don't know if this is obvious or not, but the articles of confederation are all superseded by the Bill of Rights and the US Constitution who both came after the articles of confederation, and basically made all laws and codes put forth by the articles of confederation moot.
