I've found that whilst any troll, fool or dickhead can provoke a shitstorm, there is no better way to send the red-thumbs flying...
...Than to politely disagree with someone.

The thing about the internet is that it allows those guys to scream and complain directly to the companies. That way the company can see that people don't like that decision and if they want to keep appealing to their audience they might want to change. Before the internet it was a little more complicated to get feedback on such a wide scale. We are a bit spoiled with this ability, but it has become crucial to companies in specifically entertainment. Without online complaint, the newest ninja turtles would've been aliens and the film would have lost nearly all the fanbase in their sales.

Everybody has their own opinion and they're entitled to it. Just because you don't care about these problems as much doesn't make their opinions and wants any less valid or mean they're spoiled. Vegans scream bloody murder about animals, environmentalists about pollution, for some people gay marriage is the spawn of satan. Gamers get pissed over having to pay for mods.

there is a difference between having an opinion about something and posting it in an intelligent way that expresses their negative view on the subject at hand,
and screaming loudly like some kind of SJW talking about 'MUH SOGGY KNEES!!!'.

Yes. People has opinions.
But people can also learn to express themselves without looking like some kind of mentally challenged brat that never got raised properly.

No this is just people exercising their right as consumers to boycott companies that they pissed them off.
How would it even come close to being spoiled and entitled seeing how the CONSUMERS are keeping the COMPANIES open by spending money on their product?
User avatar #21 - galaxyguy (05/04/2015) [-]
I was not commenting on consumers boycotting anything, I was commenting on consumers reacting to changes in company policies by yelling and screaming bloody murder like they just discovered the companies had been strangling puppies all along.

everytime he got his butt handed to him it was because he had helped his teammates somehow.

trex:he had just supplexed the orange guy and was on the ground when he got stomped

purple: he had just provided a boost for the yellow guy to attack the purple one from above.

i will not change my statement. green is underated.

he only managed to get hits in on green after the previously cited boost. outside of that the fight was even.

Since you never got a conclusive answer to your question of how long a foot is here is the imperial measurement system (for lengths) in comparison to the metric:

1 inch = 2.54 inches, or "1 thumb" if you have ever heard of that expression (the average width of a thumb is 1 inch)
1 foot = 12 inches = 30,48 cm. It is usually just said as 1/3'rd a meter.
1 yard = 3 feet = 91,44 cm, usually just rounded up and said to be the same as a meter, but that is the exact measurement.
1 chain = 22 yards = 2011.68 cm. This unit is almost never used, but it's always nice to know.
1 Furlong = 10 chains = 20116,8 cm. ALSO almost never used..
1 Mile = 8 furlongs = 160934,4 cm, or commonly called 1.6 km.
1 League = 3 miles = 482803,2 cm ~ 4,8 km. Once more, not so commonly used.

The ones you will mostly encounter in day to day imperial measurement using countries are:
Inch
Foot
Yard
Mile

If you can remember the measurements for those 4, you're more or less set.
