An HDD and an SSD are essentially the same thing. A storage device. since you are going budget, get an HDD. The one you have listed will work just fime.

To load windows onto I think. I read some place that it boots up windows faster. Also vaguely remember my friend telling me about its gaming attributes but I honestly can't remember them.

Man 3+ hours of daily gaming is a thing I usually do since League games are pretty long. I think I may just have to compromise for the lack of portability and go for ATX and it'll be like this. pcpartpicker.com/p/RtPZpg

I'm not a hardcore gamer, I just enjoy games with their quality of play, I'm really just needing some basic stuff. I also move around as in go over to friends and play league at lan tournaments. Could I throw in a CPU fan to help with that problem? I might get a tower once I'm settled in one area, but for a couple-a years I'm stuck with moving around, cuz college.

I personally recommend this one pcpartpicker.com/part/noctua-cpu-cooler-nhc14s yeah it's pricey, but completely worth it.

I still do not recommend you play for long (3+ hrs) periods of time.

Also, feel free to add me and then message me whenever you decide to build your big rig. I can help alot with that.
