Your idea of a person: A living thing that represents your same species, this doesn't change anything at all about it except you feel it's more important than other living things.

An actual living organism is a cell, a cell is what humans are made up of.
^ This is the part of us that makes us classified as living, we as a whole are made of living organic cells, inherently making us living as well.

A tumor is made up of the same fucking cells, so it is equivalently the same level of "alive" as we are.
