Americano here. I was never taught religion in school. Closest thing to religion that we did in school (besides history research into several religions) was the pledge of allegiance. It's not like that everywhere in the US.

Maybe? I'll be entirely honest I'm just about running on fumes as far as energy goes due to a mixture of no sleep and emotional stress, so my mental functions aren't exactly 100%; I'll just take your word for it

well, it's not a literal "I don't know jack shit", I know a lot, and I mean A LOT more than what I knew when I entered, BUT, in my internship I can see that I still don't know nearly enough to consider myself an accomplished computer scientist, or engineer, or whatever I want to call myself, in comparison to my expectations of what I should know, I don't know jack shit, I recently signed up to become a Microsoft Student Partner, they sent me a bit of a challenge to prove myself and I did it, no problem, in a framework I didn't know anything about when last October started, my education allows me to learn, and learn fast, I can handle myself, but I STILL don't think I am at the level of excellence required for my profession, and the same goes for anyone, college prepares students to strive for excellence and gives them the tools they'll need and the basic knowledge, but it doesn't straight up spit professionals at the job market.
