to keep it brief, it's because of one of the hotpots they were shown eating. it was apparently a traditionally korean hotpot and for some reason that was enough to get any production they had going on a second season (which they did have some started) canceled

The first character I can think of that I truly hate in Berserk would be Wyald. He has no redeeming qualities whatsoever, just a piece of shit who wasted his life and ends up destroying that of others completely

He got tortured for perhaps over a year
He sacrificed many things to achieve his dreams and despite that lost practically everything. Apostles in Berserk have betrayed comrades for less than he has
Also I can't truly judge Griffith until Falconia's nature becomes clear
