I use Adobe Premiere Pro, and if you get 5.5 (I think) you can link it up with After Effects. Though Sony Vegas isn't bad either. I just find Premiere to be much more efficient

Adobe Premiere paired with various other Adobe software (After effects, Photoshop), is pretty much the industry standard for what I know.

But I prefer Sony Vegas Pro. It's easier to use and you can do a lot with it.

Thinking of doing a trial run of toonboom as well,but would feel more comfortable with adobe less because of functionality and more because of program spectrum.InDesign,after effects,premiere and illustrator find themselves in some sort of use every now and then....

Why not, it is kinda disrespectful towards the creators yes, but if the times are rough you should before you run out of time - personally I'll subscribe to adobe when I'll score some cash too, but until then I'll take what I can.
But if you really want to play fair, there are some free programs like Powtoon, Pencil, Synfig Studios, Stykz, CreaToon and Ajax Animator.
Not sure if it's permanent or trial and neither do I know how efficient or buggy they are, just picked these from a list I saved.
But I'm telling you, you should study and learn things early on before you run out of time, energy or even interest.
what kind of school are you in?
Me, I wanted to apply to a high school of arts, but soon lost interest when I found out it costs 3k eu per year + expenses of food, housing and other daily minor things, so until then I'll work hard and study harder.
Then again I heard a story about a girl who opened a Patreon account to just apply for a school and promised to show results after, not sure where she's at today.

Eh,I'm trying to get into flash,but always end up coming back to animating in photoshop which only really becomes a valid option with cs6 or up.....and I have cs5.5..........
Yeah, for some reason you need a QuickTime 7 plug in.

My friend and I started animating in powerpoint with slides, then he introduced me to flash. But that was a long time ago when we were a wee bit younger, so I don't know any other or atleast I haven't tried them yet. So I really can't say what you're missing out on.
Also I didn't know you could animate in cs, then again I haven't even touched it yet, even tho I said I will one day why stop on cs5.5 tho, when you could just "get" cs6?

any you would personally recommend?

Bleaches opening mixed with their opening theme clip, and the ending of one of the OVA's. The series is long, and may be a bit hard to get into, which explains why there arent many things being made anymore. I'll give a quick rundown on why.

First is .hack//Sign, which that anime clips from. The ending of this leads into a part of the first 4 games.
.hack// infection/mutation/outbreak/quarentine were the first 4 games, which use new characters. The Sign characters are unlocked after beating the game, but don't have any real story to go with them.

.hack//legend of the twilight is a sort of spinoff series where twins get the same character data as the 2 legendary heroes from the games, and have a bunch of shit to get through. Mainly modified monsters are appearing that, if you get killed by them, you fall into a coma in real life, simulating death. (this is the common element in all of the series as well)

.hack//Roots follows the story of a character from Sign as after an incident, he lost all of his memories, and experiences the game again for hte first time in a new update. You can say he is rather edgy, since his character wears all black, and is a 'loner' character.
The ending leads onto .hack//GU, a 3 part game series where you play as the main character Haseo from Roots. The battle systems are improved, and you can have 3 weapon styles on him by the end of the game. The boss fights are incredibly fun in this one, and I prefer it over the previous sets games.

Next on the list is .hack//Quantum, where 3 girls in the next version of the online game have characters similar to the legendary heroes. They witness a guild trying to take on the final boss in the game (a hard one that grants your character a pair of white wings when defeated) and accidentally spring a trap that killed it. They become hunted down by the guild, and the world is sent into a new server in which they can die (fall into a coma) and feel pain. Some of the things that happen in this are rather extreme, for example a character hits his head on a rock, realising he can now feel pain. Another character then stands over him with a battle axe and is preparing to cleave the guy in half as he begs him to stop.

Lastly on my list is .hack//The Movie. If you want to see anything, start here, as it will get you into the series, and should explain a lot. This is in the final version of the online game, with technology getting to the point that they can play the game anywhere. Everything you need to know is explained, so you don't have to see the rest of the series.



There are also novels and manga, but that would take too long since they go into either side-stories, or go on a similar, but different storyline.

damn this shit is quite expanded, don't like wasting time with a same anime for seasons, don't get me started on reading.
For instance I just like to watch one piece for a 100-200 episodes and start again next year - quite fun really.
But for sure I'll check out the movie, thanks mate
