Oh no, There is a lot to learn, and I consider myself a master of the craft, and if I'm not, I'm pretty close. This trade, my dad taught it to me. Ever since I was 9 years old he taught me everything he knew, I'm 21 now. But I was learning a trade when I was younger and when information sticks like ugly on an ape. I was making $100-$250 a week as a kid, and I would buy stuff to teach me about my passion, which is electronics, I would buy college textbooks, parts that I would catch fire because ignorance, but that is another whole story in itself. I have a knack for learning, I do love it. And I feel blessed to have a father that taught me so much, and I know others are not so fortunate. I think it is good to teach kids a craft or trade at a young age. But child labor laws stop that, my dad snuck around that. I mean that way when you become a young adult you can do something than flip burgers and make more money.

But now that I'm an adult I have my own crew, which is me and my friend, the 2 of us. sometimes more if it a massive job Like this one job, these people spent $250,000 on a deck! A fucking deck! I didn't make shit on that job either. I broke even. I do get paid by the job, so the faster a job get's done the more I make. The last job I did I worked my ass off so much and put so many hours in I made $20 an hour, but sometimes I make $10. I am my own boss and I not, it's kinda hard to explain. MY boss that get's the jobs and building materials is who I will go work for when he needs stuff done at the ware house, and I just get a flat hourly rate for that, which is $12.

And yea, I live in Tennessee and the weather sucks, in the summer times it is 90 degrees (f) and the winter is 10-30 degrees (f) so I don't get used to the cold and hot and it just sucks. And I pick boards up and get wet, and cold. It just sucks. I make less money then because It's hard to work. And the decking, you can not put down when it is real cold. The are hidden in the side of the board with grooves/ can crack and break the board, and one board is $100. if I fuck it up, then there goes dinner. As again I feel blessed to have a dad that taught me this over the years, but I hate this job with every fiber of my being. I'm trying to get into college to be an electrical engineer.
