I always knew they weren't real, yet i still had fun with it.

because people go into in depth arguments over it. if anyone argues that a 9/11 joke is untasteful, people wither troll them or tell them they aren't being serious.

i'm an athiest, and i find it all amusing as hell. i personally dont give a flying fuck if you believe in god, dont believe in god, you can believe in loki and i dont give a shit. but the arguments, i find to be funny as hell. its the drama of it that amuses me, so i often read through the shit storm laughing. because honestly, weather you believe in god or not, it doesnt affect me. and honestly, i think there are both atheists and theists alike who agree with me.

I can respect that. but in fairness i think Cormac McCarthy is a great modern Author, his basic yet foreboding style made for rather interesting read.

If you haven't already read it you should give "Something Wicked This Way Comes" by, Ray Bradbury. It's a fantastic story, but his excessive use of literary devices and over the top diction made it a little to incomprehensible for my taste.
