 i see this a lot, and i'm just wondering why people care so much hermione is white, in the books, simply by skin color, and only mentioned in like two lines no part of her cultural heritage, customs or anything at all make her white, or anything. however, her "mudblood" origins make her role perfect for a light-skinned black woman, to strengthen the theme of mixed heritage. but you guys just think it's "political correctness gone mad"? that's a bit pathetic, to cling to these insignificant things to get mad at.
