I don't know where you live or how old you are but you cant be this oblivious to the shit that happens outside of your own home. Guns are floating around all of the time. Restricting the people that don't abuse them won't do shit.

Have you ever even been in a fight or stabbed? Imagine being stabbed or beaten over and over because someone wanted you dead. Imagine waiting 20 minutes before the cops showed up to help while you're fighting for your life all while being out matched. Even worse what if its a girl?

Who the fuck would do that? The Media makes people scared of that kind of thing happening, but truth is your chances of winning the lottery is probably bigger (even if you dont buy tickets for it).

I was in a fight a few months back, some guys had entered my friends house (we were drunk and so were they) they refused to leave and we tried to make them - I was just about to grab a knife (we were in the kitchen), but I'm glad I didn't, since it couldve escalated far worse than it did.

It'll only make conflicts less lethal if the bans are actually able to prevent criminals from getting guns. Otherwise it'll just make the conflicts more one-sided and more likely.

But it will drop the amount of crime. Do you think the boys in Columbine would've got a gun with a gun ban. Many murders are done in the heat of the moment or very loosely planned. Having the gun ban won't make it impossible to get a gun, but it will make it harder. Some one would have to find the guy who sells guns, trust the guy, spend a shit load of money for the gun, and hide the gun until he acts. It seems a bit complicated and only a few of the real murders would be dedicated enough to go through with the procedure.

They bought the guns from a friend. The friend bought the guns from a gun show. Gun bans equal no gun sales. So gun bans would make it much harder for these boys to acquire guns since they could not by them from their friend. Nice try dipshit.

If two people are pointing guns at each other someone is going to get shot.
If one person is pointing a gun at someone and the person doesnt have a gun noone is going to get shot. Nobody wants to shoot anyone, not even criminals.
