Just a coincidence that dumb people seem to have stronger tendencies to be religious, isn't it?

what makes it untrue?
i mean, these people have to wait for a link to heaven from god,
how do you know that this isnt it?
im not trying to promote christianity or any other religion im just saying, that the priest was trying to connect old tribal religion to the new one, im not sure if he was actually converting them or not, they might have already been converted for a long itme.
i was talking to the priest guy, and he told me little bits about it, he spoke a little bit of the language and talked about the little church he set up and how one day he was asking the churchgoers "who is jesus for you" and he was getting generic answers like "a father" or "god" and stuff like that but one of the elderly raised his hand and said the african word for a link to god. i dont remember what the word was, but it was something like memna.
