They amputate their own claw to distract predators and escape, they can regenerate the claws.

I'd trust the son in the bed. If he was the monster he probably wouldn't mention the son under the bed to avoid suspicion

Yep.
Though i think this is basically every single persons reaction to bots.
Make fun of them because they don't know the correct response to absurdity.

I don't know who made this, but it was just a joke.

but given that money spent in military doesn't give more money back, (compare to science, education, import/export & manufacturing of goods and a lot more), wouldn't it be economically stupid to have cities that survive only because they leech from this?

Oh my fucking god
People won't take you seriously as a goddamn musician if you don't have a Master's degree at least
You can play an instrument or sing and they'll act like it's the greatest thing ever, but then they ask what degree you have and you say Bachelor's (or, God forbid, nothing) they start with how you sound god-awful and people will never like music with your low level of musicianship and how can you get this job when people in high-level orchestras like Joe Alessi have a fucking PhD from Juilliard
Like, you were just swaying and tapping your foot and saying how much you loved this music I was making. How the fuck do you turn it around that quickly?

Colleges charge insane rates for a couple reasons:
1. There's an artificially high demand.
2. The government is already subsidizing the costs and so the colleges charge more to take advantage.

Education needs to be done on as personal of a level as possible. No more of this one-size-fits-all cookie-cutter education.

Third we need to get rid of this whole “you need a college degree for a job” mentality. There’s way too many jobs out there that require people to have a degree in order to apply even though the job itself doesn’t actually have any kind of necessity in said degree. For example my sister has a Master’s in accounting, and yet half the job offers she’s gotten are basic clerical/assistant positions. And those assholes even put the master’s degree requirement in their recruitment ads, FOR A FUCKING OFFICE ASSISTANT JOB. Basically degrees got so common in this country, and there’s so many people with them and out of jobs that companies are able to put these retarded requirements for shits and giggles further pushing more money into for-profit colleges giving out useless degrees.

hopefully yeah. And it is highly possible that those extra jobs will generate more for the economy than the ones they did in the military, because military's expencive buisness.
And cutting the military budget with 50% doesn't mean fire 50% of the employees in the military.
User avatar #315 - fpsnoob (04/28/2014) [-]
i don't think you quite understand how much military actually does for the economy. There are entire cities throughout the world that pretty much only exist because there's a military base there supporting the economy. If you drastically cut military you'll see a gigantic spike in unemployment even in people that aren't directly tied with the military.
