If I said your car ran off the Bitumen (or it's common term Oil) pulled out of the ground would you argue?
No, because it's common knowledge it runs off Gasoline which is a product of Bitumen (Or Oil)
It technically does still mean it's an 'ingredient' in dynamite. Just because your cereal box doesn't tell you everything that makes up what you're eating does not mean you still aren't eating what those are made of.
The point I'm trying to make here is anything that makes up something going into another thing is still considered an ingredient because it would not reach the point of the final product without that item.

I understand your point. It's just, I always thought of an ingredient as something that was used in the production as a whole compount, not just certain elements of it.
Of course I might just have misinterpreted that because I'm not a native english speaker, though.
