You can already run three miles. Now if you get 6 pull ups (no time limit) and 100 crunches (two minutes) then you can start working out with a lifting plan that muscle and fitness has to offer. Once you build more muscle, the muscle will eat anything you put in like a furnace and you'll develop a good metabolism. It will still matter what you eat, but it will matter less, and you can stop stressing about a slice of pizza, it wont matter a few times a week.
User avatar #16 - forceman (01/08/2015) [-]
I know I should be but I can't run in my neighborhood because it is shitty and I will get stabbed. But I can run at school (It's safer) and I know I can run atleast a mile in 9 mins. I can't do pull ups yet. I haven't tried crunches but I can do 40 push ups. 100 sit ups, 100 jumping jacks, 100 10 pound barbell lifts on each arm, and I have a weight machine but fucking weights are expensive as fuck. So I only have a total of 70 pounds. I don't know what the name of it is. But it is basically where I sit and grab a bar and pull down and it has weights on it on the other side.
I actually haven't given up pizza. But I don't eat it like I crazily did. Now it is once a week.

Hey man, you're doing great for yourself.
The most effective routine or strategy is simply not stopping.

And there's butts like these in the gym. Which are like the sun, don't look at it for more than a second.
User avatar #18 - forceman (01/08/2015) [-]
I actually have no way to get to a gym so I have my own machine and a pull up bar at home. Are you like the fitness guy or something?
User avatar #19 - affix (01/08/2015) [-]
Er no. I am just an active duty Marine. We have gyms, and fitness here is religion.
User avatar #20 - forceman (01/08/2015) [-]
Thank you for your service Yea I could never be a Marine or just about anything like that, I just never see myself wanting to do something like go to war.
User avatar #21 - affix (01/08/2015) [-]
War is hell, i say, as i sit behind my laptop surrounded by communications gear on an airfield somewhere on the east coast of America.
Where there is a nice lack of rounds flying over my head lol.
You never know for sure what you're going to get in the Marines, a combat job is highly likely, so score really well on tests and fix radars.

Make no mistake, for six months i did the same training all grunts go though, and rounds did fly over my head then.
User avatar #22 - forceman (01/08/2015) [-]
That's good to know that. But I honestly don't wanna fight in a war I don't care about. However if there is a war I do care about. Like say NK wants to start some shit. Well guess who wants to go to war then.

You feel good because of endorphin release.
You get that from things that help you survive or create life.
Food, sex, stretching, sleeping, working out. survival things.

Its natures way of rewarding you.

Greens you mean like the lettuce on a burger I just pull that to the side.
Joking aside it's definitely true that things like school, work they keep you on a schedule.
That's part of the reason why it is so easy waste time when you're not in school or with a job, time just passes by and the pounds add up too.

Joking aside it's definitely true that things like school, work they keep you on a schedule.
That's part of the reason why it is so easy waste time when you're not in school or with a job, time just passes by and the pounds add up too.

Yea like this past summer I was around 150 or so. Then I basically gave up on trying to watch what I ate and gained 32 pounds and everytime I grew a bit I would tell myself. Oh don't worry you'll burn it off. But I lied to myself.

I did the same. It didn't really hit me until I started working again, and all of a sudden my half slacks aren't fitting, and the rest are too tight.

I have some money to buy a few more pairs, but I not going to give myself that leeway.
