There is some mad power in some of those high-pressure devices, it wouldn't surprise me if it was real

Uh, no. If it had the power to lift you off of the ground it would knock you sideways if you used it normally. It would essentially be like the force of gravity pulling you in the opposite direction.
#63 - alstorp (03/25/2016) [-]
Except he used two, using two in the opposite directions of each other would then be strong, but it wouldn't knock you, but two in the same direction would be double as strong.

I'm not sure how I can convince you that two small car wash sprayers do not exert enough force to lift what appears to be a 160+ pound man. I don't think you understand how much force that is. You'd be kicked into the wall if you tried using it on your car.

Let me put it to you this way: Imagine you are holding two sprayers out in front of you aimed at your car. In your world where they could lift a man, there is now at least 1 G on your body horizontally from the sprayers, and 1 G vertically from gravity. The force vector would be the sum of the two, which would be slightly more than 1 G at a 45 degree angle down (the red arrow in my shitty drawing). That much force on you at that angle would be the equivalent of you just normally trying to stand on a 45 degree platform.

One sprayer using your numbers would be the equivalent of half of that, so like standing on a 23 degree angle. You would have to slightly lean in in order to keep your balance. I don't know if you've ever used one of those sprayers, but you do not have to lean into them. They just kick you arm back a bit.

Another example: If two sprayers can lift a man, one sprayer could lift a boy. I promise you that has never ever happened, or kids would go to the car wash to fly for 25 cents.

I never said it's real, I said it wouldn't surprise me if it were.

As I explained, it should surprise the holy shit out of you if it was somehow real!

yup, 1. he floats so gently when in fact it would be incredibly hard to counter the slight movements from not having equal thrust vectors. 2. when he goes sideways he rotates very slowly and stays in the same position even though his rotation changes which makes no sense, since the act of him rotating would change the vector of his thrust and should of propelled him flying backwards

I'm not sure if pressure washers can make you float, but I know that fire hoses can. The principle is the same but it all depends on water pressure.

Well to be completely honest. He does. Some believe he is one of the most powerful super beings behind omnipotent beings. I sure as hell believe so. He thinks that fast, he moves even as fast. And he still hasn't hit his max. Hand's down my second favorite superhero. Green Arrow has always been my number 1 since I started reading comics. Although his main villain Reverse Flash Harrison Wells, Professor Zoom, Hunter Soloman, or Eobard Thawn is just as fast as him and sometimes faster.
