Except that Obama's mein führeristration killed Osama Bin Laden the main HVT and a large focal point of the war to begin with, but he had to move Eastwards to do so. Osama was apparently holed up in that compound for 5 years, while we puttered around Iraq and Iran.

of the 14 trillion dollar debt the US currently has, 2 trillion was caused by Bill Clinton in the last year of his presidency, after he had eliminated the debt. 8 trillion of it came in the 8 years of Bush. And since Obama took office 3 1/2 years ago we've acquired another 4 trillion. Obama wants to raise taxes to help pay off the debt, but is unable to because of a bill Bush founded and got passed during his presidency.

JSYK, the president really didn't fuck up America, he has little power at times, especially times where theres a minority-majority in the house. Now in or around 2008 a comitee of BOTH REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS, extened loans to people who couldnt afford them by deregulating the bank market. This is a fact, this is what caused the recession. Any way you think about it all parts of congress fucked us over democrats and republicans. Now how we fix it is all debatable, i.e. stimulus bills and healthcare and wutnot.

I'll explain this to you as well, since I already did it for the other roody poo...
One, the nation isn't the way it is since Obama's presidency, he was elected into it.
Two, do you even realize that the president, as powerful as he may seem, has two other branches of people to decide this stuff with? Go read the constitution and learn this stuff, it is so annoying when people blame the president, like he has control of the nation or something...
User avatar #666 - footballmaniac (08/13/2011) [-]
I know that. But everyone treats Obama like he's a god. He's not the only one to blame, but he does deserve some of the blame. He did encourage the borrowing and the stimulus bill.
If it's not ok to blame the president, why is it ok to blame Bush? Tell me that.
#686 - N. Korean citizen (08/13/2011) [-]
We've been borrowing for years, its not new at all.

And in the case of Bush, he poured upwards of a trillion dollars into a fruitless war during economically unstable times.
User avatar #695 - footballmaniac (08/13/2011) [-]
Oh, so it's not ok for Bush to go to war with Iraq, but it's ok for Obama to go to war with Afghanistan?
AND THEN HE GETS A FUCKING NOBEL PEACE PRIZE!!??
#717 - N. Korean citizen (08/13/2011) [-]
Except that Obama's mein führeristration killed Osama Bin Laden the main HVT and a large focal point of the war to begin with, but he had to move Eastwards to do so. Osama was apparently holed up in that compound for 5 years, while we puttered around Iraq and Iran.

I agree that the peace prize was probably undeserved, but Obama has actually made and partially implemented troop withdrawal plans, unlike Bush.
User avatar #769 - footballmaniac (08/13/2011) [-]
Are you fucking kidding me?
Giving Obama's mein führeristration the credit for finding Osama Bin Laden??? Gtfo. You know who actually deserves the credit? The soldiers who put their life on the line to find the bastard. I didn't see Obama personally looking for him.

He's made troop withdrawal plans, huh? And I made plans to go to Harvard. How well did that work out? Yeah, he withdrew some troops, but he put even more into action.
User avatar #815 - Badger (08/13/2011) [-]
Obama mein führerISTRATION, not Obama personally. The ones who found him were the intelligence branches of the government and armed forces, not those soldiers on the front lines.

Because we cannot commence military action in Pakistan (because it would alienate them and perhaps a completely separate war) we have to completely eliminate hostile presence in [url deleted] for those plans, they're scheduled for this year so, if by 2012, we haven't started reducing troop presence in Afghanistan, you are free to flame me all you want.
User avatar #820 - footballmaniac (08/13/2011) [-]
Dude. I really don't feel like arguing anymore. No one is going to change anybody's mind anyway. I JUST WANT TO VIEW SOME CONTENT WITHOUT A NOTIFICATION EVERY 5 SECONDS!!! lol
User avatar #839 - Badger (08/13/2011) [-]
Then don't be negative one way or another. The internet generally takes a distasteful view of politics.
User avatar #675 - Rykershot (08/13/2011) [-]
I never said there was a problem with blaming him partially. I said there was a problem with putting a picture on the site and saying he screwed up the nation, that's a completely radical idea. And I never said it was okay to blame Bush, when did I even complain about Bush?
User avatar #681 - footballmaniac (08/13/2011) [-]
You didn't. But whenever someone posts an anti-Bush comment, front page... anti-Obama... -50 thumbs.
I just hate how people act like Obama is such a great president when he's done NOTHING that benefited the country.
User avatar #748 - Rykershot (08/13/2011) [-]
Oh, well, maybe it's because people think it's funnier with Bush, but I honestly can't answer that question for you. But as for saying he did nothing, that's another radical statement.
#704 - N. Korean citizen (08/13/2011) [-]
It might have something do with Bush being rather low on the IQ totem pole.
User avatar #778 - footballmaniac (08/13/2011) [-]
I won't say that's not true. Bush recorded one of the lowest IQs of presidents, but it's still quite high (139) compared to the average person.
You don't get to Bush's position without being at least reasonably smart.
User avatar #818 - Badger (08/13/2011) [-]
Intelligence in a closed environment and intelligence in the field are two very different things. Honestly, I don't think Bush can effectively conduct military operations.
User avatar #845 - footballmaniac (08/13/2011) [-]
I'd probably agree with you.
I'm just saying, he's not the total idiot everyone thinks he is.
User avatar #850 - Badger (08/13/2011) [-]
I'd agree that he's intelligent by way of media and populace manipulation.
User avatar #855 - footballmaniac (08/13/2011) [-]
Ok, c'mon!
Democrats are the manipulative ones.
How many commercials do you see about how "the Republicans are trying to kill the senior citizens" or how "Republicans are trying to take away your rights".
I haven't seen any Bush propaganda.
User avatar #874 - Badger (08/13/2011) [-]
Conservative media manipulation rivals, and in my opinion, exceeds liberal manipulation, and as to those ads, I haven't seen any, probably because I live in a very red state (Texas) or they are fictional.

I'm not calling you a liar, but I have no proof to substantiate your claim.

As for Bush, I believe he's retired, which would lead to a lack of Bush related ads and ad campaigns.
User avatar #655 - smellyarmpit (08/13/2011) [-]
The the entire government's fault, not Obama's silly head.

It's been around for a while.
Getting front page is like 30% timing and 70% luck. You have to post it aroudn the time that lots of people are on new content, and you have to be lucky enough for all of them to thumb.
