You may say disgusting, but I say kinky given that its fetish mostly found associated with furries I can understand your views. But everyone's got their fetishes man, just don't shame them.

There is a huge difference between "I prefer tall men" and "Wow fuck that guy daring to talk to me he's not even 6 foot"...

And tbf it wouldn't be such a problem if it wasn't every woman alive.
#49 - anon (09/18/2016) [-]
If "every woman alive" has a problem with your height, you're obviously pursuing the wrong women.

#51 - platinumaltaria (09/18/2016) [-]
Women don't have a problem with my height, every woman that I've asked has cited height as a major factor in selecting a partner.

But the lass says she's kind of biased but is going to 'keep an open mind', so she's willing to look past the height and go on a date with him to see what he's like, but everyone is acting like she's some spoiled lass who got blown out. She's in the first camp, the "I prefer tall men" camp. All the short arse did was shoot himself in the foot.

If a girl says 'You're not usually my type, but let's go on a date anyway' you don't spit in her face and call her a harlot. You laugh at 'SJWs' raging about weight but if someone mentions height you froth at the mouth.
#36 - anon (09/18/2016) [-]
Yeah, but you shouldn't even go on a date with that kind of person because I am willing to bet that this kind of person is just leeching off you for a free dinner/whatever, and never hear from again.

If she truly was interested she would or well.. SHOULD not even mention it.

Yeah they're allowed to have them but that doesn't mean they should be a cunt about it at every possible moment to the point of it just being bullying.

plus Trump is ridiculous (honestly if he just managed his campaign better and said less stupid shit he probaby could have beat Hillary) - I know saying stuff isn't so much (kind of the point of the content) but the freaking ISIS stuff about Obama is too ridiculous (not that it's hurtful but it's absolutely ludicrous, he comes off as paranoid/not a good leader, is willing to say ridiclous shit on an international stage and has done it way too many times) - also his policy on the wall (specifically the Mexico paying for it isn't the greatest (regardless of whether you agree with the wall - his reasoning/how he plans to do it is poor yet it's the first thing on his page of policies.

>Implying a VP is important.

anti-gay Good. Who cares? Gays can be gay. No laws against it. Anymore....

anti-science That's just stupid. Science is important. This alone should make people not want him.

cigarettes Who cares? Don't like them? Don't smoke them. They don't kill people. The people who smoke them do. Buy a pack and set them on your desk. They will sit there for years if you don't smoke them with 0 casualties.

condoms Who cares? Don't have sex until you're both tested and ready for the the consequences.

creationism Really dumb...but who cares. He is religious. Religious people are stupid.

gays + hate crime laws Don't like how you're being treated? Get back in the closet. No one asked a gay to go out flaming about being gay. Just be a person. Keep your personal life to yourself.

See, you fit the bill of another comment I made about how being anti-Trump is different from being a Clinton supporter.

About the Paris Agreement, Trump is either ill-informed or knows something we don't. I concur that his stance on this is wrong, at least in my opinion.
Not sure about the global warming myth thing. I'm fairly certain he's saying that to pander to evangelicals, because Trump basically John Hancock'd an open letter to Obama about putting up tighter environmental protection laws some years ago. Of course if he is just pandering that opens up an entirely different case, but this also relates to your first point. Either way I don't exactly like it, much like yourself.
Pence recently stood up for gays at a rally when asked about how the LGBT community would be treated under a Trump presidency. That being said, he still is kinda anti-science but unlike Trump he doesn't really have the pandering excuse to fall back on. He's legitimately been that way for a long time.

All that being said, those are only three things. Two of them are basically the same, and the one that isn't like them isn't hardly important at all. But the climate change issue is certainly an important one but ultimately it isn't likely that he'll make the situation worse. He just may not improve it either. At any rate it is difficult to say Clinton is better on the climate change subject than he is, because while she says she supports it on the surface she is being majorly funded by oil tycoons and Arab countries that rely on the oil industry for their wealth. If actions speak louder than words then Clinton isn't any better than he is on this particular topic. Not by a long shot.

How can you be so blind as to not see that this is the exact same kind of magic math the bernouts have been using since day one? Every point of policy that you disagree with Trump on, you're able to invent some kind of magical way that it's not really so. This is classic cognitive dissonance and it's just infuriating that you guys can't see it

Sorry, your response to him didn't seem like agreeing to me. It seemed like the same stuff I've seen a million times on FJ where someone brings up some asinine thing Trump said, like not believing in climate change or vaccines and the response is always a convoluted way of making it all okay. You know? Finding any possible route that Trump isn't actually a tard. "He doesn't really believe that!" or "He must know something we don't!"
User avatar
#251 - elvoz (08/12/2016) [-]
Well, like I said it's one of two things and neither are particularly good. He either really doesn't believe in climate change or he's pandering. Not believing in global warming has obvious downsides, but considering there is reason to believe he may not actually think that there are alternative downsides as well. If he's just pandering then it forces the question of what else he might be saying for the sole purpose of votes. That isn't so good either.

While I'm a very strong Trump supporter, I know my candidate of choice isn't flawless. Vastly less flawed than his opponent, but nowhere near perfect. However I do believe that he's a step in the right direction. The first step to change is breaking the routine and that's exactly what he's doing. His Presidency won't be nearly as important as that of his successor, which honestly I would really, really hope Ron Paul goes for it again. If Sanders and Trump can run at their age, he isn't too old to become our President.
