You do realise this is one of the highest acclaimed graphic novels of all time right?

This is the comic that set the tone for what batman is to this day.
Every single rendition of the batman since 1986 takes inspiration from this story.

a lot of comic book fans hate it simply because it has frank millers name on it...

honestly. its great....frank even managed to pull of less than dicktastic superman...something that he has not been able to repeat afterwards....

A work I done during my prime.
You can see the penis is both in both stage of flaccid and erect, symbolism the confusion everyone must face as human. And the nuclear symbol on the sac stands for the potential danger that humans are capable to create, yet it also stands for the infinite energy that they are capable of. =3

All building must stands on it's first brick, all book must starts with it's first word, and all artist must begins with a humble penis.

superman doesnt kill harley because he killed joker in a fit of rage and declared himself an emperor in a fit of angst. it was proven by bats that superman regretted everything but didnt want to turn back, so he looked for batman to beat him. thats why he isnt killing the other villains and shit. its not the best explination if you know supermans personality in the canon comics. but its the one they have going for in the injustice verse.

batman doesnt kill harley because he is just too fixated on bringing down superman. its why he makes huge mistakes all the time. like trusting constantine, trusting mad murderers like harley and shit, bringing in the greek gods into the mess. and so on.
User avatar
#37 - iqequalzero (01/08/2016) [-]
I thought he didnt kill Harley because hes Batman and doesnt kill. Its the whole reason they get into this war, because Superman decided to kill Joker and he was against it.

#38 - angelious (01/08/2016) [-]
yeah but working with her, letting her apply therapy to one of his best friends and not locking her up is extremely dumb move.
User avatar
#39 - iqequalzero (01/08/2016) [-]
Eh, most of Harleys lunacy and villainy stemmed from Jokers influence on her. Without him shes actually pretty lucid.
User avatar
#40 - angelious (01/08/2016) [-]
still a villain with high track record of murders on her, still a madwoman that has killed people for less things, still RIPPED A PERSONS HEAD OFF AND THOUGHT IT WAS FUN still applied shock therapy to flash and possibly worse things, still obviously insane in a murderous way. still under the influence of jokers toxins, and still is the former sidekick to the worlds most villainous and heinous lunatic that she worshipped like a god.
#27 - hassanabdillah (01/08/2016) [-]
I don't think that would be very hard to explain. Sure, the key motive given for Superman to go after Joker was the killing of his wife (and unborn child) and destroying Metropolis. More broadly though, this was a long time coming for a villain like Joker, the perfect consummation to decades of crime. As such, to the mind of Superman (and Batman), the reason for killing Joker was not primarily because of the crime, rather it was to end his person. The Joker simply could not be allowed to continue living after this. In the Superman dream sequence as well, what leads Batman to snap Joker's neck was Joker floating the possibility that he will go after the family of Superman again (remember, it's Superman's dream, so things happen exactly how he would want them to).

Also, note how fast-paced the story of Injustice is. From the get go big event after big event keeps on happening. I don't think Superman/Batman would really be bothered with such a gimmicky and, well, insignificant character (within Injustice) like Harley, even though she was an accomplice of Joker.
#28 - foodyquest (01/08/2016) [-]
It's not hard to explain at all. Harley is popular, fans love her, fans buy comics. Compromises must be made. The compromise is typically how other characters react her.

Here's another example the Harley/Powergirl comic. Harley is still a wanted criminal and is hiding out. Powergirl crashes outside her hideout. She wakes up with no memory. Harley makes up a story about how they are best friends and always have been. Antics ensues and they go on an adventure together. Eventually Powergirl regains her memories and there are no consequences what so ever. Harley is a wanted criminal and manipulated Powergirld when she lost her memory and Powergirls reaction was <---
Sure the story was alright and the adventure was pretty amusing. But if you have to compromise character for the sake of a narrative then you are doing something wrong as a writer.

"Millions of people"? Uh... Not to really try and disprove your point, but I'm pretty damn sure that the Joker hasn't killed more than, say, 150 people. Millions, even thousands, is a massive, massive, overestimate.

#24 - foodyquest (01/08/2016) [-]
He detonated a nuke in the middle of Metropolis killing roughly 6 million people

hey man, I wanted to thank you for posting content. I looked over your profile. Although this is a copy and paste message, I wanted to say I appreciate you contributing to FJ.

FJ got hit hard with a lot of downtime recently. I'm working hard to improve the site, adding new features (mp4s, webms, and GIFs in comments, new comment features, etc) and trying to make the site better for mobile.

Can you keep posting on the site? That would mean a lot to me. Thanks.

Hey admin I have two suggestions.
1 Let us edit comments we posted. So we don't have to delete and and retype them.

2 I don't know if this is a thing yet if it is please correct me. Let user's hide the mature section of their profiles from themselves while logged on. I know I'm not the only one who browses at work. I like posting in **** I feel giving people some good fap material is the nicest thing I can do over the internet. I just would like to hide it during certain times of the day. Thanks!
