D&D Epic Monsters
four days of preparation, ~8k GP, and a level 13 Wizard.
essentially you use a flight spell and a dimension gate spell to get close to Terrasque to remove a piece of it, like a scale or something, then gtfo. Then you cast Simulacrum twice, using the bits that you got. Cast invisibility on the Simulasques so the real Terrasque has a hard time hitting them. Unleash your minions upon the Terrasque; it essentially becomes a Terrasque fighting itself, only one of them is actually two of them and is partially invisible. After a while of beating on each other (the damage reduction 25/+5 negates, I think, and if it doesn't you need to arm your Terrasques with battle weapons similar to what horses and the like have) the Real Terrasque will hit negatives, but it cannot die until you Wish it up. So you leave your fake Terrasques beating on it for a while until it hits like, negative 2,000,000 HP and start hacking away at it. They can regrow limbs every few hours until they die; make armor out of the Terrasque to outfit an army, hell make WEAPONS out of it, and then eventually when you're done get your hands on a Wish spell and put it out of its misery. Boom, you just 1v1'd the Terrasque.
basically, not really no.
a tarrasque should be considered more like a cataclysmic level natural disaster personified, rather than a killable monster.
You would need a beyond-Epic level party with crazy-powerful spells, a metric FUCKLOAD of damage per round, a similarly large amount of healing, and a 9th-level spellcaster with Wish, if you REALLY wanted to kill Tarrasque.
And even then it'll be a fight for the ages
Nope, on paper the tarrasque is something to made someone else's problem and nothing else.
And if you actually let the tarrasque just stand there and take the wisdom drain you are a crap DM.
The tarrasque is basically only used to hang over a adventure as a consequence of not stopping the evil wizard or the target of whatever quest related magic +8 sword of quest resolution you are searching for
And the inhabitants of the plane of water are gonna be awful upset about you dumping a monster in their yard and will probably move it somewhere else.
And the pathfinder tarrasque hibernates in water

You're supposed to be sneaky.
They are jailers, walking around guarding the jail.
Their lantern lights turn from white to red when they've spotted you.
They only drain your health when they are looking at you.
All of this is supposed to show you that you are supposed to sneak around, not just fight them head on.
.......not fight head on...... what...... but they die so easy if you do
