Well the argument there is that plants have absolutely no form of central nerve system, therefore cannot feel pain. The "scream" that some plants emit after being damaged is just internal gas escaping and whistling against the now opened insides. The counter being is that animals can and will show reactions to pain, whereas plants will not.

I agree that we need to point out flaws in everything, but that isn't what most people who post in atheist channel do. They just find some way to insult religion. But I do agree that we should maturely point out flaws in both religion and atheism and tho world would probably be a better place.
