Upper Iowa here. Pretty much half of winter it snows like that.

It snowed 7 years ago mildly and 1 or 2 years ago it snowed like 2 cms....

Where in Texas do you live? I live in north Texas and it snows several inches every year for us. But last year it didn't snow a single time and that's the first time i've ever seen that happen.

You should really see the arguments I get into with fellow Americans. Either most Americans believe this or I know a lot of very ignorant people.

So basically you argue about people trying to honor the memory of people who died?Plus I've never heard an american say that. They might say it was the most tragic thing to happen in AMERICAN history, but not human, they would pick the holocaust for that.

No they act as if literally 9/11 is the worst event in history and that the resulting wars are perfectly justified, and other countries should bow down and kiss our feet because we went through "such a tragedy" and they get all pissed off at other people who try and explain why it isn't the worst event. I would not even claim it is the worst event in American history. Perhaps the most deadly, but not the worst event.

Of course they're going to get pissed when people get up in their face and say "Well, you know, 9/11 wasn't all that bad." Also, they don't expect countries to bow down to them because of 9/11 they expect them to at least show some respect for the people that died, Which those countries obviously don't do in the first place, from all the jokes, so they get mad.

I don't get up in their face and say a damn thing. They usually talk about the America with a lot of arrogance and act like every country all owes us something because we are apparently the richest, smartest and most powerful and have experienced the "most devastating" event in worlds history, according to their perspective. I just point out why that statement is not correct and they blow up on ME. I now have a poor opinion of those people. Think of it like a black person...Should we be extra courteous to black people because at one point, not to long ago, they were treated unfairly, slaves, abused and tortured? Besides all of this meaningless points, those people are dead. Showing them respect doesn't do them any good. It doesn't bring them back from the dead. We can either move on and address today's problems or stay in the past and surround ourselves with grief. It sucks that it happened, and those responsible have long since payed for it, and so have many more innocent people on both sides of the fight. I am talking about the ridiculous "Pro American, we are better than everyone else" type people. And those people seem to take up a majority of the nation.
