Yep, they like to "play" with them so they keep them alive and throw them up in the air for hours until they die. Also they will spend hours killing other baby whales just to eat a very small portion of them and let the rest sink to the bottom of the ocean.

Nihilism is just the rejection of what is commonly considered meaningful... It has nothing to do with religion. Existential nihilists think that there is no inherent meaning to life, moral nihilists think there's no objective moral values, metaphysical nihilists think that physical objects might not even exist.

You may be correct in that many atheists not only don't believe in a god but also don't follow or adhere to any religion. I also understand that languages change over time, but rarely does the definition of a word completely change. Your example, the word "ain't" was a newly created word and not an already existing word that had its definition changed. Most changes in language over time are corruptions of spelling and pronunciation. Ain't is a corruption of the words aren't and isn't depending what tense it is being used in. It is a new word that retains the same use as its precursors.
