1 gold per copper ore can't be right, can it?

I don't really trade in copper ore much

I've got almost 100 of them just mining stuff I come across. It's the first thing you can mine. Makes no sense though. I can have 100 gold before I'm level 16 if that's the case.

It's not? I thought around 100 gold when you get to 40 would be more average.

It's really not that hard to make gold these days, especially if you're AHing all the materials you mine

This is the first thing you can do with the profession. Like you just pick it up and start mining. It shouldn't be that easy to get gold. It should only increase when my ranking goes up by a lot aswell.

Farming the lower level mats might make you a bit (for the people who want lower level items for whatever reason) but mining at max level won't make you as much as you need to buy the things you'll need. In fact the addition of garrisons pretty much invalidated most professions. It's hard to make a good profit with them, really.

SO mine when low level makes more then higher? At least with legion invalidation garrisons, it will be useful again. What should my second profession be?

Something like that. Most people have mining mats anyway so they're really inexpensive. I suppose if you want to make gold early, having two gathering professions (like herbalism, I guess) would be the easiest

That isn't that much, like I said. For an item to be worth farming it should be like 400-500g per stack, imo. Otherwise it takes too long for not much reward.

But it won't matter, you won't really have much to buy until level 100 anyway. Aside from maybe mount training, which isn't that expensive anyway (at least the ones you actually need)

You'd be surprised. I play on a few different servers these days, and an item that sold for 5k on one of my servers sold for 1k on a different one.
