All right scenario: You are part of a 300 man group who consist of former criminals now deserted.

You had to kill your officers to get this freedom and are now located in hostile country where the populace regards you with deep doubt to outright hostility. Your allies are now means and you will not receive any reinforcements nor supplies. You have food supplies varying from a couple days to a few months(depending on a lot of factors).

Your country is hunting you and will do more effort to get rid of you than their opponent(to prevent further rebellions). You can join the enemy you were once fighting but you will most likely be sent back into battle by them.

Now tell me, how would you work this out?

They would be in the army and thus deserting would be a capital offence.

You did. It turns out the Blues were Earth's wrath for of all our polluting and overpopulation. The planet is semi-sentient, and it became sick of our shit, so it put some bugs on the evolutionary fast-track to killing us.

DS2 was fun. Beat it once, and played through most of a second time. I know i'll enjoy it again later, but replaying so soon again after got boring for me. I'll get on another kick eventually.
