Yeah, I'll try and remember.
If anything, she would probably at least be able to explain why better, since it was two or three years ago that they said that.

That movie's funny though. I watch it now, and it's just as good, if not better than, some of the stuff I see nowadays, like that shit "The Nut Job" movie.

They're just more into the classics than anything else.
I think part of it for Sam, as well was the people he was working with.
I remember him saying something about how they were all assholes (but said much cleaner because he was your stereotypical Christian from the southern US, and I never even heard him say "crap.")
I could probably ask his wife some time in the next two weeks, since I'll probably have her as my Thesis instructor, but I can't ask him because, in their infinite wisdom, my school fired the instructors with real-world experience, and replaced them with three people who know the software really well, but no experience, and a guy with neither.

Why'd they hate Jimmy Neutron?
#73 - feedmeh (08/20/2015) [-]
Neither of them thought it was really all that good.
I can't really remember every example they gave but Shari (the wife) hated the writing (since she's a scriptwriter) and Sam hated pretty much all of the animation aspects of it. But, he was also never a major fan of 3d animation (for him it was kinda just a paycheck.)
