If you overclocked your cpu it might be drawing too much power than your psu can supply when it starts to work harder and causes your computer to trip up as a result. Only an issue really with no name brands or super cheap psus but if for example you have a 500w psu, if your drawing above 90pc i.e. 450w your psu might not be able to sustain it. This guy does a good example of a bad psu not holding voltage. www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NUz5rNzw1Q If you have a cooler master/corsair/be quiet/antec/evga psu it shouldn't be a problem unless your unwittingly going over your psus wattage. Hope you get it fixed easily. I probably won't see this page again. Tomshardware or linustechtips forums are also a great place for help.
