I do somewhat agree that what the storyteller did was a bit too much. But you can understand if being forced out of his home and family might not have done much for his sense of morals. Just super sayin, if I had to live on the streets because of some shit like that, I wouldn't have seen a problem with that kind of response.

Why else would you tell a story like that about your friend, unless you wanted him to suffer in some way. Especially when they're still in high school, where the slightest bit of strange behavior or weird rumor can rally the community against one person and destroy them psychologically. You can't say he told the story expecting it would just get a good laugh and be forgotten.

That's not something you'd do to a friend.

I'll agree with you 100 percent on that, he knew that the story wasn't going to just disappear, but you can't honestly believe that telling a couple people a true story about what your (probably ex) friend did to your house and mom, warrants having information planted on your computer and being turned into authorities and being excommunicated from the church.

If he was really the storyteller's friend, he would've forgiven him instead of getting some kind of petty revenge or some such bullshit. But people tend to have different definitions of 'friend' nowadays.

You would completely ruined your friend's life because of a book? That totally doesn't make you a shitty person.
User avatar #8 - fatzanzy (11/04/2013) [-]
Where in that story does it say his friend ruined his life? All that his friend did is tell a couple people what happened, the story spread and from there other people blew it out of proportion. You are telling me that if somebody wiped his ass with your moms bible (I'm not religious at all but you have to respect that it is considered a sacred book to many) and you had to clean up his shit from your bathroom floor and replace your broken toilet, you wouldn't tell a few people about what happened?

sorry for the run-on sentence
