| If it makes you feel better, I heard he died a while ago, miserable and lonely after being divorced for some years. Just got an update on the story after talking with my mom: 1- the dude was an asshole 2- he always resented that particular son, because he believed it wasn't his because the kid was blonde with blue eyes. 3- his wife eventually left him and married another dude. She wasn't that great of a person either. I feel sorry for the kid. I wonder if the punnet square had anything to do with the kids features It is an interesting science concept that is taught a a very young age and basically forgotten where I live. #65 -
abesimpson (12/14/2015) [-] The bad thing about the punnet square is that it can only be applied to certain genes that aren't linked to sexual chromosomes. Such as eye color, which is generally the example that's used. For that we would need to know the eye colors of the grandparents as well to see if they have the recessive genes. Knowing just the parents isn't enough. But from what I've heard, the mother was kind of slutty so it's possible she banged someone else. Still isn't the kids fault though. Yeah that is true. But who knows, a punnet square could go back all the way to the dark ages. Fun science Yeah, Mendel was so fucking lucky he picked a trait that followed his laws. Otherwise he would've given it up and it would've taken a lot longer to figure it out (he definitely wasn't the first to experiment with genetics). I don't know. I recall that the guy was generally a dick. Not only with his kid but in other things in life, he was a shady dude. His kid seems to be a functional adult. But it's been such a long time and I only know these things because of Facebook. So who knows.

randomuploads (12/14/2015) [-] Oh don't think I was saying US democracy in particular is the best, quite the opposite. What I mean is that you can't really have anything other than a system in which all citizens share in power, i.e. a democracy.

| In Germany. Out of Germany SS recruited what they called Volksdeutsche or german nationals. They were conscripts and choice was "Join or die" Which is why if you open an encyclopedia and look for Waffen SS Freiwilligen, you'll see that it says "The Waffen-SS foreign volunteers and conscripts" >right is what a lot of the original members of the DAP and NSDAP looked like Man, do you understand that the NSDAP had around 8 million voters | ||

bismarcksback (12/14/2015) [-] Funny that they opposed drinking and smoking then? Also almost of all of the members of the early Nazi party were soldiers from the first world war. Communism didn't become popular before the German revolution which the Nazi heavily opposed, going as far as hunting communist members and former communist members. Also, Communism and Anarchism close to National Socialism. Top kek I chose the wrong words, what I meant were Fascists as a whole, not Nazis in particular. Communists tried to recruit from Fascists, Fascists tried to recruit from Communists, both tried to recruit from Anarchists and Socialists. And they were very successful, a lot of NSDAP members were former socialists or communists. They were similar in that they all hated western liberal democracy, in their collectivist thinking and that they all had a big boogeyman they used as a scapegoat for all the evil in the world. I would hardly count them as Nazis. When I think about it you are right, the SA was just a group of violent hooligans. hikakiller (12/15/2015) [-] I'm white. Nor do I think any one race abuses their children more than any other. oh well. #91 -
hikakiller (12/15/2015) [-] It was implied that I was not white, that's what the nor was responding to. I know you probably don't care, but just in case you do The statement before the nor was still a positive affirmation, making nor a strange usage here. Further, the speaker implies, the listener infers. He called you an idiot, but that has no connection to the statistics he linked. It wasn't implied, you inferred. If I sound pretentious and condescending right now I'm sorry I'm just trying to help. #93 -
hikakiller (12/16/2015) [-] You don't sound pretentious. My knowledge of english grammar is exceptionally limited, and it's my first language. It's baby boomers. They are mostly retarded, extremely hypocritical, fuck up everything they touch and blame the generations that followed them for every problem the baby boomer generation caused. #61 -
anon (12/14/2015) [-] lol current kids/teens are the worst they already blame everything on everything else but themselves That is because current kids/teens are still kids/teens and very few have gotten far enough to cause any actual problems. Also, they have been babied their entire lives, because of what the baby boomers did to the world, and are going to have serious problems when they finish school and try to function in the real world. Hell, shit has been getting more and more difficult for each generation after the baby boomers because of how much they fucked up. They got so preoccupied with making everyone happy and safe and tolerant that they over complicated everything and now nobody is happy and safe and tolerant. Well I mean, many of them are literally too young to cause actual problems. Honestly, Generation X (currently 35-55 years old) parents aren't really better. #26 -
abesimpson (12/14/2015) [-] When I was little we had these shitty neighbours, and the father was such a dick to his kid. Once it was his birthday and we were invited. After blowing out the candles. The father says to the kid : "Aren't you going to eat the cake? " - I don't really like cake. It's ok. "Eat the cake" -But I don't want to And that's the time I witnessed a father beat the everloving crap out of his son on his own birthday. In front of everyone... For not wanting cake. | Because obviously every original Nazi looks as classy as a British gentleman who goes by the name of "Ralph Fiennes". Suuure... sorry to burst your bubble, but the very first Nazis were nothing but violent drunken hooligans, and a lot of them started out as communists or anarchists, two groups that were very similar to nazis, and the main recruitment hub for the NSDAP Nazis have always been what Neo-Nazis are today, they just look way more sophisticated due to living in a more sophisticated time #22 -
