that's not how economics work. People have less money because higher taxes and thus spend less. Manufacturers and companies don't have their sales, so items become more expensive to compensate or they lay off and fire workers. The latter will happen more often than not. When people stop spending money the consumer economy stalls and fails.
And oh yeah, when your healthcare is paid by the government the government makes sure you don't cost them too much. The government then makes things like sizes of soda and triple cheeseburgers illegal. 12 liter sodas are already illegal in New York and certain fast food items are illegal in European countries with universal healthcare. Worse, waiting lists for care raises exponentially. There are as long as 2 month waits for cancer treatment in Canada because of the extremely high demand for care. Supply and demand also works in reverse in this case and hospital items become extremely expensive, like MRI machines. This is not even mentioning that most countries with universal healthcare with the exception of Canada are bankrupt. Why should the government diminish everyone's well-being to accommodate one lower class?
