so in other words, it's the sonic fans sort of thing, but with watchdogs. However instead of fans being all over the place on what past games they liked, it is instead what mechanics that were previously announced on what they want. By trying to make all the fans happy, they instead made none of them happy.

I think a lot of the hate has come from the fact that when Watch_Dogs was announced a lot of people just jumped on the bandwagon and it got super hyped, then when it wasn't what all these bandwagon people were expecting from the game they got frustrated, and started to hate on it even though they pushed the expectation of the game.

see, the way that I see it with uplay, is its their way of protecting their games from piracy at an extra level. In case someone manages to cheat steam, they cant cheat uplay. Or vice versa.

Well I don't think it's working very well if a legit and working version of Watch_Dogs was on TPB before it was officially released.

You're welcome. Oh, and do go past the first set of negatives, those were obviously screenshotted for this post. If you want to make a game of it, make your own compilation of horrible ones and try to make front page with them

I'm seeing comment from people with 4gb nvidia graphics cards complaining about frame rates and stuttering, I find that incredibly hard to believe as I have a 2gb AMD card and can play at a solid 30-60fps while moving with no hassle. As for Uplay, yes it's shit and it'd be better without it but I had no problems with it on release so I don't understand the fuss.

exactly

Someone was complaining about how you have to use your phone to blow up steam pipes and all that stuff in the city when being chased, and the game would be better without those gimmicks. If they removed those, however, you will just be playing GTA.
