far cry 1, far cry 2 was beautiful but it has no replay value and you do SSDD for everything and the only good thing about the game was the map editor and even that was to play a bad lag filled mess of a multiplayer

I don't know about Far Cry 2, but get Far Cry 1 if you like games where the AI can find and shoot you(With 100% accuracy) while you are about 100 miles away behind several jungles and mountains and in a building. But when you get their weapons you can't shoot them if they are more than 5 feet away and behind any cover at all(Even grass).

Far Cry 1.

Far Cry 2 is just a big vast space of...nothing. It's pretty much empty. You have landmarks spread ridiculously far apart and you spend 90% of gametime running from checkpoint to checkpoint.
