Thanks! I've never had the chance to ask anyone about it and you have given me a lot of good information. Well i have a few years left to decide i guess. I always want to help people as well, mainly for guilt points ( why should i lie? we're all very selfish creatures ain't we), and being a doctor always looked like the best way.

Haha, I plan on joining MSF ( as soon as I can (which by my calculations won't be till atleast another 10-11 years or so). To be a doctor has always been my dream, like its been carved into my very essence since long ago, Alot of people near me (Currently) just don't have the same drive so I never really had much of a chance to talk to similar people. BTW where you from?

Oh yes, human interaction for the early morning hours! do forgive me, i'm quite drunk and also dramatic. Your comment was very appropriate and very smart, and i too wish to study medicine. I've always found it funny that i was never disturbed by corpses or dead flesh, i thought once that this would make me a good doctor, and also then the other attractions to the profession: money, chicks, power and chicks convinced me to pursue it . But now i wonder if medicine might be too boring. What do you think?

oooh trust me medicine is really really fucking boring. But its boring in the sense that theres too much useless information they make you learn, but if you actually are interested in the study of life then you might just fall in love with it. I've always had this sort of yearning for knowledge so I pursed it, but well other people have other reasons. And don't for even one moment think that once you have your degree its fair sailing. Once you actually have your degree, the first thing you will learn is that its absolutely worthless and your internship time will be pure hell (Take lots of coffee if its still the legal stimulant then). But well once you've passed all that you would have the choice of earning huge cash while just sitting on your ass and diagnosing people, or you could risk your life and do volunteer work in disaster/war zones (not sure how much that would net you though). All in all a really rewarding field if you've got the guts to brave it.

well maybe some are laughing, like you, who laugh, and i must believe this, only for the irony of laughing at something so terrible. I must admit a smile spread across my face when i saw this( oh how could somedthing this awful be funny), oh wait there's a two-bit pun right there that makes it acceptable to laugh at oh ha ha ha; i forget now that there are what appears to be several deceased people in the photograph and i laugh. Its just that I've realized the current me has no power to change the twisted world we live in so the best I can do is laugh and bare it till I have enough power to cause change.
