Anon learns of the Syria...
It's hard to say anything about this. Nobody knows what to think and it completely came out of nowhere. I do think that too many people are jumping to ridiculous conclusions too early. There could be any reasoning behind this. The fact he gave a warning to russia and tried to minimize any sort of casualties says something.
He literally could've done something much worse, such as aim for assad himself or some town with civilians in it, but no, all it was was an airfield reported to have chemical weapons, which according to some sources (and to which many people have a base for calling it a false flag) states that assad had no chemical weapons left and got rid of them in 2013. So, why attack this base if there were no weapons left? Could assad be lying? Could Trump try to break the russian-trump narrative? Is there something that recently happened that he's trying to cover up? Is this all a power move to have china properly deal with NK? Or was he always planning from the start to deal with Syria? The list goes on, and nobody knows what to think of it. Many people wanted Trump because he specifically stated no more pointless wars, and now that this happened, people think we just started war with Syria/Russia over what people believe to be a false flag.
What I say is give it a week. We do know when he talked about Mosul during his campaign that he doesn't see the point to say stuff such as "We're going into Mosul in 3 months, the leaders of ISIS are there!" "In 2 weeks, we will attack Mosul and defeat ISIS!" He did specifically say that what we should do is go in quiet and give out a release a week or so later, and going by how out of the blue this was, it seems he's following that creed.
Basically, there was a gas attack organised by Assad that resulted in 87 civilians dying, including women and children. Trump responded to this by launching missiles at a Syrian airbase that was used to launch the chemical attack. Since Russia is in cahoots with Assad, they're pretty fucking pissed, though most other world leaders think Trump did the right thing.
To be fair, the airbase was empty as far as I know so they stopped them from carrying out more chemical attacks without killing more people. I think it was probably a bit of a brash action but then again it's showing he wont tolerate the shit Assad is pulling.
You'll get people saying the chemical attack was a false flag but to me, that's just them trying to deny Assad did anything wrong.
the strike killed a syrian general and this should not be US business especially since staying out of syria is what got trump elected
When bad people do bad things (like attack their own civilians with chemical weapons) I would expect countries like the US to get involved.
By that logic the US shouldn't have gotten involved in WW2 since it wasn't FDRs business.
That is correct, FDR should have stayed out of ww2
Tell me what Benefit Assad would get if he bombed his own people, keks? Cod points? I fail to see the reason behind his alleged "bombing"
give it a few weeks
Not yet, there's still about a week or two left of the New President Dick Sucking cycle.
So far Trump hasnt done anything bad
cept for that ISP data selling law thing, i see good and bad in that.
or anything that wasnt a purposeful multidimensional-4D-underwater-backgammon-chess move.
Now, It's another 4D chess move.

Still not tired of winning
It's, not actually that big of a thing. Businesses and government offices say Happy Holidays so as not to specifically align themselves with a religion, but still decorate in Christmas colors and shit. Mall Santas are still entirely a thing, and any citizen can say Merry Christmas to whoever they like with no fear of repercussions besides some assholes getting upset. Anyone who seriously believes there's a "war on Christmas" is a tiny bit of a fucking mong.
